Not until DOJ Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz suddenly began rolling out all the voluminous evidence he’d been collecting did people realize a stealth investigation had been underway.
Horowitz went in and dug up all the evidence of the Crossfire Hurricane plot while everybody was watching The President Trump and Sessions Traveling Roadshow™.
You only know the names Peter Srzok, Lisa Page, Bruce and Nellie Ohr, Glenn Simpson, and Perkins Coie because of evidence Horowitz found. You only know that it was the Hillary Clinton campaign that funded the creation of the Steele dossier, and that top DOJ/FBI officials laundered that dossier by lying about it to the FISA court, because of Horowitz.
Trump and Sessions are still keeping people’s eyes firmly fixed on them. Once again, Trump’s enemies are looking in the wrong places.
Horowitz’s next report, the one in which he will deep-dive into all the shenanigans involving the Steele dossier, Fusion GPS, and the FISA court, is going to hit like a nuclear bomb.

I tend to agree. In the early stages of President Trump’s administration, I could possibly agree there was a strategy but not now. Sessions seems firmly in the Deep State camp and only the upcoming elections will bring a resolution, one way or another.
The fact that the theatrical Trump chastising Sessions is not characteristic of Trump the manager tells me it is all a charade to keep the MSM at a distance so they do not know what is really going on behind the scenes...and if I am right, the swamp will blow up right before the election. Hence, Demorats down the toilet..........
What exactly do you think is "going on behind the scenes"?
May I remind you that Sessions is recused from any and all matters which could be tied back to the 2016 election? That means he is legally forbidden to be a part of any investigation having to do with the attempted coup.
If the coup plotters are ever indicted, and it comes out that Sessions had anything to do with the "behind-the-scenes" investigations, every one of them will walk free.
So no. Sessions isn't doing squat about any of this.

Exactly right. Further, if you read the 6th ammendment, it’s very clear exactly why Huber is forbidden to go after any crimes that happened outside his jurisdiction. And the language precludes just changing jurisdiction boundaries after a crime is committed.
Sessions isn’t, and won’t, go after any of them. Trump is in an awful situation, and there are no easy answers.
No secret indictments.
No arrests.
No gitmo.
