Over inside the home of the Democracy Dies in Darkness slogan on Wednesday, The Washington Posts lead editorial argued that President Donald Trump is complicit in the destruction being caused by hurricanes, including the forecasted pain set to be inflicted in Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina by Hurricane Florence.
The reasons that The Post outlined had to do with the Presidents deregulatory agenda on the environment and his refusal to further President Obamas liberal, environmentalist policy aims.
The editorial first laid out the stakes for those in Florences path and then, by paragraph three, laid blame at the feet of the President:
Yet when it comes to extreme weather, Mr. Trump is complicit. He plays down humans role in increasing the risks, and he continues to dismantle efforts to address those risks. It is hard to attribute any single weather event to climate change. But there is no reasonable doubt that humans are priming the Earths systems to produce disasters.

In their highly-charged emotional state which has replaced reason and truth, the Leftists at the Washington POSt would never use the correct phrase that applies to our country — that is, the Republic Dies in Darkness — because it’s clear they would like that to happen!
The President went out on the balcony on the White House south portico and raised his arms above his head. With arms extended and palms outward he allowed them to sweep slowly outward and down.
Hundreds of miles away, the vast hipressure cell responded by grasping the hurricane and bringing it in to submission.
The president was in fact complicit in reducing the intensity of Hurrican Florence
It started off the African coast - so....
Actually, tomorrow I’m sure WaPo will run a lead editorial thanking President trump for breaking up the eyewall and downgrading it to a tropical storm, amirite?
Considering that the US is the only country that has actually reduced its carbon footprint over the past 5 years (primarily coal power generation replaced by natural gas), what are they blaming on Trump? His words? Or maybe the booming economy and factory openings that slightly increase carbon footprint?
While we have cheap carbon sources in the world, we should exploit them. There are too many people in the world who do not have access to electricity. It is cruel to relegate them to poverty to save on CO2 emissions.
There will be time enough to address global warming hoax with new technology, after we raise the world’s population out of poverty.
Ex pres George Bush might be getting pretty jealous by now. He was the sole reason for any and every disruption or bad thing that happened to upset the leftist liars and their democrat followers. Pres Trump supporters are not buying this misinformation and outright lying. Even the democrats have to be cringing at their leaders deliberate and obvious twisting of any event in their efforts to take out Pres Trump.
Dear WaPo.
Florence has the Trump Curse.
Trump has driven the hurricanes rating down from 4 to 2 in just a day or so.
You may soon be experiencing an enhanced Trump Curse yourself. Probably a good time for you to evacuate to a safer cockroach locale.
Dear Robber Baron owned, CIA driven WaPo.
Florence has the Trump Curse.
Trump has driven the hurricane’s rating down from 4 to 2 in just a day or so.
You may soon be experiencing an enhanced Trump Curse yourself. Probably a good time for you to evacuate to a safer cockroach habitat.
GW Bush still is cowed by the Democrats and the only time he has something to say its about President Trump. I think hes jealous of the accomplishments. If he had a shred of decency he would be more supportive but hes a battered spouse.
That last Florida hurricane helped Rick Scott due to his good performance, he wasn’t very popular before that.
I hope this next one isn’t a partisan democrat storm like that one that helped Obama in 2012.
Anybody who believes, as the writer of this article seems to at least imply, that there were no hurricanes before the advent of the industrial age, is a f***!ng idiot.
.. there is no reasonable doubt that humans are priming the Earths systems to produce disasters.

The WaPo has a qualified climate change expert onboard, eh?
Folks should pay no attention to the ‘priming’ comment, its a cheap subliminal suggestion to use Bezos’ Amazon Prime. ;-)
With that line of reasoning then President Trump is complicit in the lessening of the hurricane’s winds.
I thought HARP was the entity that manipulates hurricanes.
Actually climate change is real. It is always changing and has been since the "great bang" that created this universe. I.e. the great ice ages and warming that has gone on since the beginning. What is bogus and nonsense is that we humans have anything to do with it! We just live here because God wanted us here and fine tuned the WHOLE UNIVERSE just so we could. Forget human like life on other planets. This is all God's doing and we don't control anything.
Yes the 1780 hurricane season is the most destructive recorded. The decade of the 1780’s was noted for very active hurricane seasons. On the 1780 season this might put things in a bit of context:
The 1780 season was extraordinarily destructive, and was the deadliest Atlantic hurricane season in recorded history with over 28,000 deaths. Four different hurricanes, one in June and three in October, caused at least 1,000 deaths each;[1][2] this event has never been repeated and only in the 1893 and 2005 seasons were there two such hurricanes.[3] The season also had the deadliest Atlantic hurricane of all time, the Great Hurricane of 1780.
I only know of ONE PERSON who totally controlled the weather (HE also walked on water). Apparently, the MSM have placed Trump in HIS Company.
Fixed their slogan...
