Two people were arrested after authorities said they tried to poison their co-worker at a small BMW dealership in Toronto. Szilard Czippan was charged with attempted murder and administering a noxious substance while Rahim Jaffer is only facing the latter charge.
The two men were captured on surveillance cameras taking the water bottle of a manager at the dealership and filling it with engine coolant. When the manager took a sip, he immediately realized that his water had been replaced and he drove to a pharmacy to get a charcoal pill. He then went to the hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
A spokesperson for BMW Toronto told CTV News that employees were shocked that something like this could happen.
“It is a small dealership, a family environment where there is a certain level of intimacy. A trust was broken. [Employees] are surprised and shocked."
Police have not said why the two men plotted to poison their manager and are continuing to investigate.
Attempted murder and it should be treated as such.

A friend of mine in Cali had a buddy who took the anti-freeze way out. He said that when the remains were discovered, it was quite gruesome. Not fun, and definitely not a good thing to do to anyone.
The two perps should be given a taste of their own medicine.
I guess this is what Jim Carrey meant by Canadians being “so nice” because they have “free” healthcare. They’ll still try to kill you by having you drink antifreeze but they’ll pick up the tab for the hospital bills.
By the looks of the names, it looks like a couple of “amish” guys...
Years ago, my younger sister tried that same trick to kill me so she could get my portion of our parents’ will. Like that manager, as soon as I tasted it, I knew what it was and immediately went to the emergency room where I was treated. Fortunately, I had only sipped a little of it instead of taking a big gulp.
I filed charges against her for attempted murder, and she just recently was let out prison on good behavior!!! She’s has since moved to Canada. I guess to join her “amish” friends up there. But she knows if she EVER comes anywhere near me for any reason, I’ll not hesitate to put a bullet in her. I know that’s an awful thing to say about one’s sister, but she’s as bat shite crazy as they come.
Many years ago there was a great freeper called Sionsar. He died when he went to Europe and drank house wine that had been mixed with antifreeze. Came home sicker than a dog, died a week later.
