The National Football League on Tuesday said the social justice issues raised by former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick deserve our attention and action.
The National Football League believes in dialogue, understanding and unity, Jocelyn Moore, the NFL's executive vice president of communications and public affairs, said in a statement. We embrace the role and responsibility of everyone involved with this game to promote meaningful, positive change in our communities. The social justice issues that Colin and other professional athletes have raised deserve our attention and action.

Yes, they do! But not during the National Anthem at your stinking games.
I take it the NFL is leaving the football/entertainment business and getting into the SJW biz. Good luck with that.
OK. Let’s give it attention. Deaths from police shootings and unwarranted police violence are down dramatically over the past several decades. Are we going to talk about that, or are we going to pretend that we live in a fantasy land where police are all racists looking to hunt young black men, who are all innocently minding their own business when they are shot?
Only if they’re more interested in stealing Nike’s than shooting up the place.
Hey Humberdic, Nike, NFL, fluck off until you act like you really give a crap. That will be when you get your ass to Chicago and make a difference. Black on Black oppression, hatred and racism is rampant.
Good lord but these people in the NFL league office are tone deaf.
NFL out of the USA.
so the NFL position is, despite the concrete evidence there is no disparity in police arrests of blacks, they still have to push hate and racism by catering to a racially confused player who couldn’t make the cut in fair competition against those he considers his own peers and who turned his own failure into an attack on America in general? Alrighty then. Bye NFL.
The only statement he made was wearing socks with pigs dressed as cops on them.
That does not deserve our attention.
Walk away from Nike.
.
We do not turn on a football game to get politicized. We wanted to watch football. For that reason, I no longer am interested in the NFL and I no longer watch or pay any attention. Let Nike have Colin Kaepernick! Let’s wait and see how long they put up with that clown.
If someone says, “let’s have a discussion on something that deserves our attention and action,” I will probably listen. However, if he starts with insulting my wife or my mother, I won’t care what his later point is, even in the event that I somehow hear that point against my will. The discussion was over at the insult.
The NFL protestors started by insulting our flag, our anthem, our military, our country, and our ancestors. I had friends who died in uniform. I was done listening to the losers whine before they even failed to settle on what they were protesting. I’m not listening to their explanations for their rudeness, nor am I listening to anything else NFL. I’m thrilled that the NFL is suffering from their self-inflicted Colin cancer, and I hope Nike will die along with the treasonous league he used to lose for.
FK the NFL
FK their players
FK their managers
FK the team owners
FK “Professional” football altogether
And
FK the SOBs who still watch the damn spectacle.
I’ll never watch an NFL game for as long as I live.
I hope the entire franchise collapses
I hope every professional football stadium in the U.S. closes, and is torn down.
Over 90% of black murder victims are killed by their own kind.
She hit him first. Equal rights, equal fights.
She hit him first. Equal rights, equal fights.
The NFL is now a Democratic Party PAC.
Prior to joining the NFL, Moore was a Managing Director in The Glover Park Group's Government Affairs Division and co-led the firm's Health & Wellness practice. Before GPG, Moore had a 15-year career in the United States Senate, including roles as Deputy Staff Director of the Senate Finance Committee, Deputy Chief of Staff and Policy Director for Senator Ron Wyden, and Legislative Director for Senator John D. Rockefeller IV.
Moore began her career in the office of her home state Senator Zell Miller and later worked as a senior policy advisor to Senator Bob Graham. She is a two-time graduate of the University of Florida.
No. The game of football deserves your attention and action.
Leave the baloney to the government.
Buttwipes who only crave attention can get all they need from the fans.
As for ‘discrimination’ it’s a fatuous joke coming from some guy who’s receiving tens of millions of dollars to play a children’s game with a little ball.
K loves Fidel and Che, who killed a lot of innocent blacks and other people of color!
