After Kavanaugh is confirmed, Ginsberg (85 YO) and Breyer (82 YO) will be the oldest on the bench by far. They are both Clinton nominees, and Thomas (70 YO).
I could see Trump replacing both of them, and perhaps Thomas and Alito (68) retiring during the Trump (or the following Pence) presidency.
That would give us a tremendous advantage for many years. In eight-years, Trump could legitimately replace four or more justices. That keeps the democrats up all night, I’m sure.
