The paint on the road near a predominantly Latino community near Des Moines read, "Deport Illegals." The sprayed-on sentiment didn't last the day, but some officials in the Iowa city are worried it's indicative of a simmering resentment for immigrants that has become more public recently. The red paint defaced both directions on a two-lane road on the city's south side on Thursday. "These actions are unfortunate and not consistent with Des Moines' spirit of compassion," Mayor Frank Cownie said. "Such actions have no place in our city." A city worker painted over the words later in the day. The city tweeted a photo of the graffiti removal, with the hashtag #NotInOurCity.

Gang graffiti - including MS-13’s - often remains for years but this was removed inside 24 hrs.
Like statue removal, it’s amazing to watch government move at lightning speed when it serves their ideological aims.

“Immigrants” obtain VISA’s in their home country after (for the most part) thorough screening by State Department officials. Illegal aliens violate federal law by either over-staying their authorized time allotment, or sneak across porous borders.

Illegal Immigrants
Illegals
Undocumented Immigrants

I embrace the term “illegal immigrant”
Only illegals and those who enable illegals should be concerned, about breaking the law.
And that includes employers, too, who are knowingly breaking the law.

I want to deport every illegal. No exceptions. But I have no problem with Hispanics who are here legally. The same is true for Chinese, Poles, and all other people. If you are here illegally, you should be deported. If you are a citizen or entered the country legally, you’re welcome.
Central American illegal invaders are actually American enemies.
