The FBI and Department of Justice partnered on a secret program aimed at flipping Russian oligarchs with potentially damaging information about the Trump campaign's alleged involvement with the Kremlin, according to a New York Times report Saturday.
Justice Department official Bruce Ohr worked with the FBI to attempt to turn one of those oligarchs, Oleg V. Deripaska, who is close to the Russian government.
At one point, FBI agents made a suprise, "uninvited" visit at Deripaska's home in New York and questioned him on whether Paul Manafort, then-chairman of Trump’s campaign, "had served as a link between the campaign and the Kremlin," the Times reports.
The effort appears to have been unsuccessful, and according to DOJ documents obtained by the New York Times, Deripaska refuted investigator's theories about collusion between the Kremlin and Trump campaign and organized crime in Russia.

Some of this makes me think of the old Will Smith movie Enemy of the State. With enough time and money Mueller, the FBI and the other alphabet agencies can frame Trump and manufacture whatever “evidence” they need. I hope President Trump recognizes just how pervasive the threat is to him, his family, and anyone else close to him and he has taken countermeasures.
I guess a lot of people still are unaware of this massive political conspiracy involving all the heads of our intelligence agencies. Because there sure does not seem to be much of a pitchfork & torches outcry yet.
I realize full well that the MSM manufactures public opinion, and a good outcry is greatly assisted by the force multiplier that the media is. If we had a fair media Comey, McCabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, John Brennan, Clapper, Rosenstein, Sally Yates, Andrew Weismann, Stephen Halper, Obama, Clinton, Sally Yates, Loretta Lynch, Huma Abedin, Susan Rice, and all the rest would be on their way to prison right now.
I can only dream of the time.

They've resurrected that meme from the Halper revelation. The FBI inserted a spy into the Trump campaign specifically to suggest collusion to various players so it could be turned around and used as evidence for much more intrusive spying and the FISA warrant. The liberal media spin was that was only done to protect Trump and he should be glad for it.
The plot smells as rotten and putrid as the Clintons. How could a charitable Foundation be a criminal organization?
They accuse Trump of the same high crime they committed themselves. And the Dem base can’t hold two ideas in the head at one time. Once the “Russian Collusion” label is psychologically attached to Trump, it’s very hard to rip that label off and put it on the Clintonistas.
I know what you mean but I think their invincibility to scrutiny may be cracking. The weight of evidence against them is really starting to mount up.

I have high confidence Trump knows exactly what he’s doing and the Clintons will get their justice— though probably not as soon as we’d like.
I think his focus right now is to get plenty of facts out there so show Deplorables that he’s been terribly wronged and we must to something to save the country from the Media and everybody who spoke at McCain’s hatefest.
Everything about this says “frame” job. But it was wonderful when the FBI told Dianne Feinstein she had a Chinese spy on her staff, clearly revealing the difference in handling between her being warned and President Trump being set up for impeachment. Nothing could be more clear than that comparison.
Feinstein is told to watch out, she has a spy on her staff. Trump is told nothing about a potential Russian agent on his campaign staff, even though subsequent facts bear out there was no such Russian agent.
Trump needs to get involved directly. Calamity Sessions is worthless as sin. Useless as tits on a bull.
