A fleet of jets takes off from airports around the world. They ascend beyond the cruising altitude of commercial airlines until they reach the stratosphere. Then, they spray. A thick stream of sulfuric acid pours forth from the aircraft, bathing the skies in toxic aerosols. Winds spread the noxious cloud around the world, where it lingers for months, even years. The effects down on Earth are unmistakable. On every continent, blue skies are replaced with a pallid veil of white. The Milky Way disappears. There is less sunlight for solar power, more damage to the ozone, and a surge of droughts across southeastern Asia and central Africa.

This scene is not an ongoing government conspiracy, or an unreleased prelude to The Matrix, or a diabolical plot by C. Montgomery Burns. It’s a plan that some of the world’s most sober climate experts have earnestly considered. It’s called solar geo-engineering, or, more euphemistically, solar-radiation management. As the Sun’s overall magnetic activity decreases, cosmic rays reaching Earth increase and cause increased cloud coverage.
There are also those who say it will also increase volcanic activity, increasing levels of volcanic ash in the atmosphere.

As awful as the accuracy of the “educated elites” predictions have been regarding climate change, I dread the unintended consequences of them messing with weather modification.

A planetary population of 30M elites only needs about 200M slaves to serve their needs. The rest of us have to go because we consume THEIR resources and take up THEIR space.
I came here looking for this quote. I wasn’t disappointed!
These people are insane.
I worry that they will be able to do something like this in the not distant future. If they can do something raal to alter the natural processes of climate then the likelihood, not the “chance” that it will cause something else altogether, such as a rapid onset Ice Age that will then be irreversible because there will be no time to discover and implement ways to reverse what they have done, and even if a reverse tactic is thought to be known and is employed some quite other and deadly effect will be brought on to the earth. If they really can affect things then then they can kill civilization and with it most of humanity. I know they dream of being the rulers of being the Rulers of an Earth with perhaps ten percent of the present population but they would be back, themselves, to animal skins and caves. Being elite is not worth much then.
They would kill life on earth in order to be Kings of the Earth without all those people littering up the landscape. Think here of Faust writ very large.
