Just wanted to have a thread where all of us can show how 2008 REALLY played out. And to the Steve Schmidts and Nicole Wallaces . . .
F*** You
I was going to vote for Bob Barr, Libertarian Party, that year.
Sarah Palin is the only reason I pulled the lever for the Republican candidate - PERIOD!

Bump
+1 :)
Ditto.
Same here.. when my wife asked who he should pick for his running mate I said Sarah Palin... that’ll ensure a conservative voice.
When I mentioned I had picked her after McCain announced none of my friends believed it until my wife confirmed!
I liked Sarah, but I’d seen enough about Obama to know I didn’t want him. The GOP could have run Deez Nutz and I would have voted for him. I have changed my mind in light of McCains behavior over the past few years. I shouldn’t have voted for him.
Me, too...Also...Exactly!
From the time he picked her as his running mate he went downhill every day. He should have stepped aside and let her take his place. She could have beat the O ffensive Won. We might have been spared a lot of evil O spread into our country.
McCain's bitterness destroyed him daily until he died.
Same here! IMO She should have been running for President.
I voted Bob Barr.
McCains loss and Romneys loss were the best things that happened to the GOP.
Us conservatives would have been in the wilderness for generations if those open borders globalists had become president.
Sarah Palin was not enough for me to vote McCain.
First time I did not vote GOP in a presidential election and I have no regrets.
I think you would find 90% of the people who voted for the McCain/Palin ticket voted for it because of Sarah. McCain is just about the most hideous unlikeable guy for the job.
If McCain hadn't chosen her as his running mate, I probably would have stayed home in November.
I truly did not like that man, and felt duped about being forced to vote for him.
I voted for her.. all the hero stuff and non stop war imagery creeped me out about McCain.
I have always thought of Trump as Palin version 2.0, they are very similar. The white hot hate and attacks they receive is certainly similar.
I never understood why Sarah was so loyal to him, even though he backstabed her in a few interviews after. I remember him responding to a question and giving names of ‘up and coming republicans’ he gave a few names and then smiled and asked: notice who I left out?
I remember his campaign deciding to bypass a State altogether, and Sarah saying: why? Why skip it? I could be there for a few days.. she was scolded for breaking form with the campaign line..
I did admire McCain for his energy, how in the world a man so old could make so many campaign stops..
Thank god he didn’t choose Lieberman.
Me as well!
I didn’t vote for GHEB or _______
Losers are losers.

Sarah Palin saved mcpain from total embarrassment, and if given her freedom, she could have {maybe} won states like MI, and OH and PA.
mcpain is dead, so I won't say anything awful about the lowlife prick.
But if we had mcpain as President, there would be no President Trump and we'd still be screwed, so I'm glad we had to suffer 8 years of the halfrican, communist, mooselimb prick.
I had a McCain/Palin sticker on my car. While pumping gas a woman came over and said, “I really love your sticker. Sarah Palin is incredible! Because of her, I’m voting for McCain even though I normally vote Democrat!”
I loved her too and would watch every rally on TV just to see he speak. Towards the later part of the campaign, Sarah got less and less time to speak. It was as if McCain was jealous that he was being upstaged by her. To correct that situation, he gave her less and less time. What an egoistic schmuck. He lost the election because of his cocky personality.
