Gun control advocates are extremely distressed by President Trump’s nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. Michael Bloomberg’s anti-gun rights group, Everytown for Gun Safety, fears that “Judge Kavanaugh has applied an extreme and dangerous interpretation of the Second Amendment when determining whether a law is constitutional, one that does not take into account a law’s impact on public safety.”

Liberals are demented. They used to release large groups of murderers and serial killers into the population back in the seventies. Disarming people against criminals thins out the herd. It’s only when the libs are troubled it becomes a big deal.

I find this perplexing myself until I watched a New Zealand cop show where a gunman fired about a hundred shots, which wounded a few people and killed one cop. The head cop ordered his cops not to fire at him. One cop did so in self defense, and was chewed out that if he had killed the perp, he could be charged with manslaughter. This was a true story.
This is a case where mentally disturbed diehard libs want no deaths by guns, not even in self defense. A death is a death, whether it be some innocent woman walking down a street or a crazed killer.
Taking guns away from us will stop us from needlessly murdering people coming into our homes to rob and rape.
This mentality is mind boggling stupid, but it’s how many of the leftards think. We will be so screwed once they succeed in gutting the 2nd Amendment.
That’s what the Democrat propaganda blitz is about (as recently seen on Drudge). They’re pushing to de-legitimize the President with the delusional hope that they can somehow convince enough Senators to oppose the Kavanaugh confirmation.
Some of the most influential (rich) political constituents want gun control more than anything else, because they don’t trust working class Americans with firearms. They’re afraid that if they do anything despotic and evil enough, that the populace will attack them. And they want control—complete control over people, markets, business, natural resources, etc.
Yes, and they hate the idea that following the Second Amendment shows the Constitution really does limit government power in an obvious and easily tested way.
They also hate the idea of independence, responsibility, and freedom that gun ownership tends to generate, where it is legal.
The Second Amendment is the most important amendment that holds the leftists back to their true intentions. The First is on life support.

The fact that “Bloomers”is against K. makes the judge a completely acceptable appointee to the SC.
The Second Amendment is the only one of the Amendments that you can put your hand on and touch. The rest are just words on paper..
