I would have very little to say about John if he hadn’t made himself the focus of our concern over and over and over and over...
He was pretty much a maggot his whole life.
As a child he like to start fights on his grade school campus. This admission was form his own book.
He literally screwed his way though Annapolis winding up around 4-8 people from the bottom of his approximate 800 member class. He would sneak out of the dorm and go to town at night.
He was allowed to join Navy flight school, something any other person would not have been allowed to do, with his grades.
There he didn’t pay attention and lost the first of the five aircraft he would wind up losing during his flight career. According to his trainer, he wound up his flight training by accomplishing only about a third of the deck landings he was required to.
Post Vietnam he divorced the ill wife who had waited faithfully for him. He met Cindy, divorced his wife, and was remarried within about 90 days. Cindy’s dad was a very wealthy beer distributor.
From there John entered the U. S. Congress. While there he took gifts from Keating. They were valued at $7,500 dollars. He did not report them as required by law. He was never taken to task for that although he did report it seven years after the fact.
He was the largest financial recipient of Charles Keating and his efforts. This totaled over $100 thousand dollars.
John was taken to task for his, but a slap on the hands is all he got. Senator Cranston was forced out of office over his dealings with Keating, and he received less cash than John did.
From here it just got worse and worse and worse.
He insulted the families of MIA POWs and their representatives. He went against the wishes of the Veterans, all to grant Vietnam MFN status.
He attacked Bush for years on Sunday Morning talk shows even over good policy, because he had supposedly been insulted. He became a real gift to the Left and it’s media mouthpiece.
Then he ran for the presidency, and was attacked by the Left and it’s mouthpiece media.
He urged Obama to arm and fund the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, (the good) al Qaeda, and by accident, ISIS.
He actually advocated for starting a global war with Russia in Syria.
This is only a very cut down version of all that could be discussed with relation to this man.
I don’t think John ever knew the Lord, but that is between him and the Lord.
