Lt. Col. Ralph Peters, a former Fox News military analyst who left after accusing the network of "assaulting our constitutional order and the rule of law" in collaboration with President Trump, talks to CNN's Brian Stelter about his views on President Trump's impact on the country.
"What is the most dreadful part about it, for you?" Stelter asked.
"The most dreadful part is that we have a president who does not respect our system of government," Peters said. He continued to say his former employee FOX News were "prostitutes," "amoral," and "opportunistic... People that only listen to Fox have an utterly skewed view of reality."
PETERS: The people supporting Trump are radicals, these couch-potato anarchists. Theyre people that dont have a program to make America great again. And by the way, Americas great right now. Rather, theyre destructive. They want to tear things down. They want vengeance. And Trump is brilliant at that. Hes done what autocrats and charlatans and false messiahs throughout history have done. Hes told his core supporters, You are not to blame. You are not to blame for the mistakes youve made. You are not to blame for your failures. Its them. Its minorities; its immigrants; its fake news.

And Ralph Peters is a counter tenor.
It is pretty clear considering blistering things this fellow wrote about the negative effects of the permanent government class and K Street dictating national policy that somebody reached out to him with a deal he couldn’t refuse. The offer of a couple hundred K in publishing or just being on the mast head plus a promise not to pull some skeleton out of the closet works wonders in getting people on your team.
I think he means Barrack, that’s what it means.
Obama had a pen and a phone, after all. The rest of us had to get in the backseat and eat our peas.
Also, if we liked our doctor and healthcare, we could keep it.
Word, from Trayvvon’s father.
“The nicest people I ever met were O-9s and O-10s and my warrants.”
In my day the finest and nicest were the WW2 vets and I knew/worked with all ranks from E 6 to O 7/8. Just lost a beloved cousin, WW2 vet, Gunners Mate 2nd Class on PT boats. Eyes get a little damp when I learn of their passing.
Barney Fife said what?
He also published several novels while on active duty which garnered enough favorable reviews that it annoyed those in Big Army who firmly adhere to only beating your drum amid the organization. I suspect he was told something like Joseph Wambaugh after he published ‘The New Centurions’ in ‘71. “Joe the department has no use for patrolmen who publish novels about the force. Anonymity and obedience are the keys to advancement. You are through on this force.”
Officers like this prick are the reason fragging was invented...probably back in Roman times.
Ralph Peters is just another fake news mouthpiece. Everything he says is anti-Trump. Working for impeachment like the rest of these traitors.
Peters was an unbearable, ignorant putz when he was on FNC, and I always immediately skipped past whatever BS he was spouting ...
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman : How tall are you, Peters?
Peters : Sir, five-foot-nine, sir.
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman : Five-foot-nine, I didn't know they stacked shit that high!
He’s a clod.
What a clueless dolt. If he thinks Fox News watchers are looney, what about those of us who dont even watch TV because we think Fox is too liberal. Lol.
Yeh Ralphie 62 million radical anarchists out there. Where are the riots?
You’re right about that one!!! Trump has made sure these ass hats can’t hide anymore. And what’s happened, they’ve all veered to the left.
No other GOP candidate in my life time, no politician period on either side actually, could do what Trump does.
He connected last night with the audience for almost 90 minutes.
Peters is an irrelevant little turd.
He is so used to big government, he mistakes liberty for anarchy.
He feels insecure making his own decisions.
Skin that impeachment smokewagon and see what happens, colonel “Mildred” Peters.
