NBC security analyst and former CIA director John Brennan is doubling down on a threat to sue President Trump after the outspoken former Obama official was stripped of his security clearance.
Brennan appeared Friday night on MSNBC and told Rachel Maddow he is exploring litigation against the president. This follows Reps. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) and Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) saying Trump stripping Brennan of his security clearance is illegal.
“As you can imagine, a number of lawyers reached out to say that there is a very strong case here, not so much to reclaim mine but to prevent this from happening in the future," Brennan said. "So, I am thinking about what it is that I might want to do. At this time, I’m trying to make sure that the principle is what is going to be defended and supported and this is something that should not be repeated."

Er. When you get a clearance you are informed that it can be taken away arbitrarily. No one has a right to a clearance.

Courts _do_ not decide inter-governmental issues; they remain unresolved. Each branch of USA government is autonomous. If they don’t agree, they work around it.
Then again, courts are created by congress, so they are _lower_ that the legislative branch.
The executive has huge power since it can arrest court representatives who are acting unlawfully. Congress can merely defund executive activities.

Brennan will be ultimately be as successful at getting his security clearances reinstated as he was at preventing Trump from becoming POTUS!!
Brennan may land a Trump Hating Federal District Court Judge to rule for in his favor initially but the Appeals Court or SCOTUS for sure will ultimately side with POTUS that the granting and revoking of Security Clearances are the sole power of the Executive!!

Awesome. Since it is all related to his role in the attempt to overturn the 2016 election, this would be an awesome chance to get lots of FBI and CIA and DOJ documents as part of discovery.

Otherwise, you are right. Brennan is dumb as a rock. You have to realize that Valerie Jarrett and George Soros wanted a dumb puppet running CIA that they could completely control.
