The Morandi Bridge has collapsed in the northern Italian city of Genoa.
The bridge, a part of the A10 motorway, is about 100 metres tall, Italian media say.
Up to 20 cars may have been involved in the incident, and 11 people are confirmed to have died.
Amazingly, one person has been rescued alive from the rubble.
Photographs from the scene show huge sections of rubble on the ground underneath the middle of the bridge.

/Surely, FR has a few hardcore Zep fans around...
Yup. It still brings a tear to my eye to see Plant at the Kennedy Center after being awarded a KC Honor and listening to ‘Stairway to Heaven’ sung by Heart. He couldn’t have imagined, when he first sang that song, that he’d be getting a major American honor and listening to the song with the President.
I recently posted something to my FB about LZ and my sister, whose tastes lean more toward Sinatra, posted an enthusiastic response. I asked when she had become a Zeppelin fan and she reminded me that I had introduced them to her when I came back from my freshman year in college.
Toti (Deputy PM) also said maintenance work carried out on the bridge had proved insufficient.
File what he said under duh.
I don't know you sister's age, but her musical tastes are pretty diverse, liking both Sinatra and LZ!
If you think about his entire life, Robert Plant has been involved in a huge breadth of musical styles. I'm not sure how he felt about Heart singing STH, as I think he's expressed a since of becoming "tired" with it over the years, but I'm sure he took it as an honor.

It makes her 52-62.
You could get head-banging crazy to Zep (arguably the most cerebral of all rock bands ever). And get mellow to Sinatra. Then get laid to Barry White.
