True. But he did say he wasn’t going to take a long vacation, just an occasional day or two off. Guess that’s one of those times.
I think it sort of depends on the guest host, too. I prefer Mark Steyn.

Did Rush say ANYTHING last week about being on vacation? I didn’t hear it.
Noticed something else the other day: My 24/7 subscription is up for renewal. The last time I did it, I purchased a 3 year subscription (wondered then whether Rush would really be around another three years).
When I looked at it yesterday, the longest offering is now 2 years.
After 30 years on-air, I think Rush is finally starting to think about retirement. I would bet he’s agreed to continue through the next election: 2020.
With another 4 years of Trump secured, I think he might finally feel like he can leave, with the country in good hands.
He said no more vacations just a day here and there. Yesterday was here and today is there, so let’s hope he’s back tomorrow.
National (for me) 36th wedding anniversary day.
Life will just not be the same without my daily dose of conservative optimism.
But, hey... I’m thinking of retiring too, and I’m EIGHT YEARS younger than Rush.
He’s done his duty, and them some.

You didn’t miss it. He said on Thursday that he’d be gone on Friday and then be back on Monday. I guess he needed the rest or something came up. Hope he’s not ill.

He said last Thursday he felt he was getting hoarse, so maybe his voice gave out on him.
