Screaming he had been driven from the public square!
They would not listen to reason, nor to people with knowledge of the internet. They just wanted to rant because Alex knows which of their buttons to push.
Seems Alex gets more viewers now than ever.
Zuckerberg at Facebook has said he believes Jones deliberately precipitated the ban/crisis for publicity.
But I guess we'll never know for sure.
Tried downloading one of his Android apps yesterday and couldn’t find them in the Android store. They are doing everything they can to block them. I just went to http://infowars.com and listened from there.
Professor Noam Chomsky defends Alex Jones/InfoWars against blacklisting by tech

So it's OK for the social media companies and tech giants to conspire to remove his presence from the highest traffic driving websites in the world because Jones had such a large following anyway?
Other people aren't so lucky. And it won't be long now till Jones has his apps banned off of cell phones as well.
We conservatives believe in a competitive market and a can-do spirit. Don't like FB, Twitter, Google, or YouTube?
Don't use their platforms.
Go out and invest in or create alternatives.
They think their fans and "likes" are theirs. They're wrong. In fact, when they try to send a message across their fan base, FB has an algorithm whereby only a fraction of those who "liked" their page get the message...unless they boost it for $25.
The same generally holds true for other commercial enterprises...they don't "own" their likes.
This is why many entities maintain their own website where they "own" their fans' email addresses etc.
My guess is if enterprises leave FB, they'll quickly find that it's smarter move to build their own presence and website. I suspect Alex Jones is now reaping the benefit of him being cut off, and we can only hope it hastens a greater exodus.
I tend to have little patience with conspiracy theorists of any kind, especially those that try to tell me that “they” are hiding the truth and that “we” are the only ones who really know what’s going on. This includes 9/11, flat earthers birthers or others of that ilk. Now, that being said, the old adage “I do not agree with a word you say but I will defend unto death your right to say it.” Those who would endeavor to censor others have created a trap of their own making and that tickles me to no end.
What did he say that “precipitated the ban”?
As Obi-wan said to Vader: “Strike me down and I will be mightier than before!”
Zuckerberg has accelerated Jones into public awareness he's never had before. People WANT to know more about him. They want to know who is this guy who is now a threat to Facebook and Twitter.
The social media barons should not have attempted to silence those they disagree with. They believed they could control the minds of all who used their services. But they failed to account for basic human psychology. If they REALLY wanted to stifle anyone, they should have ignore them. But they didn't. They succumbed to the power they had in over abundance.
They have sown the wind. And many more will reap the whirlwind.
Alex Jones gets miles of crap as a kook conspiracy theorist.
I’ve been there maybe 6 times in the last 20 years.
BUT, given the Actual crazier than the Twilight Zone real life conspiracies against Trump from DoJ and FBI, . . . . . . and a whole host of other Big Govt Agencies under Bammy, . . . .
Banning him was guaranteed to make him more popular.
Zuckerberg is just trying to deflect attention from the fact that he screwed up.
The man is a stupid child in the body of an adult geek. He knows nothing about human nature and acts like it, too.
I guess his shrink mommy never taught him basic common sense facts about people. For instance, if you don’t like what someone is saying JUST IGNORE THEM.
“InfoWars continues to see more than 1 million page visits per day.”
The positives of Alex Jones (the 2007 “Endgame” movie, the hiring of bright news readers such as Paul Watson) outweigh the negatives of AJ (repulsive voice, repulsive set design).
Funny how the gravely-voiced AJ is a threat to the Big Six of Media: Comcast, Newscorp, Disney, Viacom, Time, and CBS.
There are already Democrats calling for other sites from Breitbart to Joe Rogan’s show to be banned.
Alex Jones was just the low hanging fruit of liberal purges beyond what they’ve already been doing on Facebook and Twitter.
You can judge that based on a few days, where he’s in the news. The purpose of the ban is to prevent people who aren’t looking for him from finding him, and keeping him off as many platforms as they did will likely over time have that effect. The most compelling argument I’ve seen is that they are actually protected from liability for content as a platform instead of a publisher. If they are now in the editorial content business, treat them as a publisher.

Alex Jones is a bit of a wacko bird. To sensor him is not good and dangerous. If they can sensor him they can sensor anyone, even though they tell the truth.
Gobells must be jealous of Face Book, Yahoo, Google, Main Stream Media etc. From his place in hell he must think, “damn it is so easy now.”
I don’t like that Alex is being targeted but he’s is way too neurotic for me. I’ll never get over his... F*ck Trump! F*ck his family! after the Syria strike.
F the Zuck (it rhymes).
I usually did not go to his site but because of the leftists trying to ban him, I bookmarked his website and signed up for his email updates.
Leftists in the US are domestic enemies of the US Constitution.
