Some Policy: After yet another highly publicized and very deadly weekend in Chicago, Mayor Rahm Emanual has come up with a plan to finally address the rising gang-related violence. Sort of.
He’s essentially asking gangs to cut it out.
While promising to deploy “hundreds” more police officers, Emanuel said in an address that he also wants to see an “attitudinal change” among Chicagoans — and especially gang bangers.

You are exactly correct. Gangs in Chicago have been used since the 60’s to secure a vote. Black P Stone Rangers and Jeff Fort anyone? Luis Guiterez was elected by the Latin Kings who made SURE all the older latinos voted... “or else”...
Black aldermen and “community organizers” are often paid off to look the other way by the gangs and drug dealers. It is quite a lucrative cash business to be an alderman in the black wards of Chicago.
Those gangs are a protected class, cops going into those zones also place themselves at high risk for being shot by gangbangers or sued by the city itself.

Healthy crap his Mom buys is what’s left. (leafy greens, probiotic yogurt, almond milk, V-8) That stuff is like kryptonite. But you can count on the cheese, deli meat, hot dogs, pickles, jerky, and any decent leftover I was counting on for lunch to be gone.
Chicago is filled with great people who are far from “idiots”, its high culture is a tremendous asset to the state and the world. Its blues scene is the tops in the world. It has every thing one could want: Incredible food, a beautiful lake, pro sports in every sport, the world’s greatest orchestra- the Chicago Symphony, museums and art galleries, universities and medical centers second to none.
The neighborhood I lived in for the last 26 of my 51 years in Chicago was likely safer than your hometown. Not so safe but still livable when you kept the cops on gang-bangers which they were happy to do.
These gang shootings occur in certain neighborhoods on the South side and West side and do not reflect the City as a whole.
Democrat destruction of the Black family is the primary reason for the killings. Shattered (or never really formed families) are the source of the gangs killers.
Civilizations (the word is a derivative of city) are the products of cities and a society dies without them. They are the sources of ideas and huge economic factors. There is a reason wars used to be won by taking the enemy’s cities and that all empires were centered on cities
If Trump could dent this Demonic possession of Blacks (women mainly) and redeem the politics of the cities by doing so it would destroy the Demon Party.
If only they had free college and healthcare they would be good little gangbangers and vote democrat forever!

The real problem is the “group” that commits the most crime. Until they stop their violent ways, nothing will change. Everyone is bending over backwards to ignore the elephant in the room.

Maybe an announcement that you will personally hang the next murderer you catch at dawn on the lawn of city hall and the public is invited to watch and the governor and the courts can bite me if they have a problem with it. Modern society seems incapable of dealing with this problem in the only way it has ever been effectively dealt with.
