Big tech’s coordinated purge of InfoWars — which was hit by bans from Apple, Facebook, Spotify and YouTube in rapid succession — did not occur in a vacuum. On this issue, Silicon Valley bowed to CNN journalists and Democrat politicians who ceaselessly lobbied for the site to be censored. It’s a sign of how the concentration of power in America has shifted from big government to big tech that politicians are now lobbying tech companies rather than the other way round, but that’s exactly what happened over the course of the past few months, as Democrats applied relentless pressure on Facebook and other Silicon Valley giants to censor InfoWars.
Chief among them was Democratic Congressman Ted Deutch (D-FL), who demanded that a Facebook representative “explain” their decision not to ban InfoWars at a House Judiciary Committee hearing on social media censorship last month. Calling Jones as “well-known conspiracy theorist” whose “brand is bullying,” Deutch also demanded Google’s representative explain how many strikes it would take for a channel on Google-owned YouTube to be deleted.
He then asked Google’s representative if they thought conspiracy theories were a “problem,” and asked her to explain the company’s planned solutions. It seems that YouTube has now come up with a solution: ban the channels that Rep. Deutch objects to.

Oddly you are correct. Companies should be neither conservative nor liberal but should be guided by maximum profits for their shareholders.
The political government left are basically corrupt so we arrive at a marriage of convenience between companies of the free market and the political corrupt left. In the short term the corrupt left will enhance the profits of these companies if they do their bidding. This is quasi Fascism. Quasi Fascism is not a stable state. It will descend into full blown Marxism or it will be destroyed by the people.
This always ends the same with a man with a rifle in his hand making the final decision. Sometimes it is the good man and sometimes the bad man.

I used to follow a guy o. Twitter and he got banned a month ago for calling out someone who disagreed. He wasn’t rude, racist, etc. banned.
I loved his feed. Where is he now?

Jones is one of the original 9-11 Truthers who insist that the 9-11 attacks were an inside job. He gaslights himself.
The major social media platforms shouldn’t be able to censor him, they exert market power and have become defacto monopolies, but that doesn’t mean that Jones isn’t a crackpot.

An obvious immediate vengeance: Ban the government from using any of these companies that discriminate on political issues. That would cause the government to get rid of their facebook pages, their apple purchases and some other painful changes due to their unfair actions.
Today will be remembered as the Day the 1st amendment was killed in America. The Tech Totalitarians will not stop with ‘Info Wars’. One by one Nationalist/Conservatives will be De-Platformed into non-existence. By the 2020 election, virtually all our sites will be disapeared. And so far, not a single Republican is doing a damn thing, including Trump.
