For the Democrats to win, Americans must desperately need the government and its programs to survive. In other words, the private economy must be severely damaged or killed.
Obama did everything he could possibly do to accomplish that.
On the other hand, by making the economy strong again, Trump is striking at the heart of the Democrats. The voters don't need the Democrats anymore because they can make it on their own. As they make it on their own, Americans will reject the "victimology" preached by the Democrats.
As Saul Alinsky preached: to win, the Socialists must overload and crash the free market system.
So, yes. In Cory Booker's mind, something is savagely wrong with America when viewed through the prism of Socialists. If Americans begin to do well financially (and mentally), they will reject the idea that they are somehow victims.
It (America) is thriving again. And that is a death knell for Socialism and its salesmen.
Using such emotional descriptors I can only wonder if at the time he was projectile vomiting while having explosive diarrhea and cutting himself.
