A lot of people here in N.J. thought that he would be a pretty good mayor. Not your typical lefty. He sure did fool us.
He was basically a white liberal mayor...and in the same manner as one, did nothing for blacks. Dem mayors are geared towards the immigrants displacing blacks in the cities, not the automatic “D” voting blacks.
If I remember correctly he was ‘hand picked’ to be BOs successor when he was elected Mayor.
Then, a funny thing happened on the way to the ‘White House’ (Get another BO type ‘person of color’ and they will be changing THAT name...OR WE WILL INSIST it be changed)
Didn’t Cory tell the ‘scam suckers’ that the ride was almost over and he agreed with the B Crosby method of ‘cleansing’. AND Cory basically got ‘thrown off the bus.
He ‘turned himself around and got back on the ‘D’ track’ but IMNSHO it shows just how shallow the D candidate pool really is ..REAL old White guys, Flaky women and here- a young Black - who they probably can’t and won’t ‘trust’ to toe the party line.
