I seem to remember seeing articles saying that the FBI investigated the charges against Manafort in 2005 and dropped the case. Can anyone help me find them?

I hope they explain to the jury that it's not a pi** coat because I'm sure that's what their impression would be.

Here’s Napalatono on fox and friends a day or two ago talking about Manafort. He also (at 1:30) mentions that the lawyer who 8 years ago exonerated Manafort was Rod Rosenstein.
How Rod Rosenstein hasn’t recused himself is beyond me. He signed one of the FISA requests, wrote the memo to Trump to recommend firing Comey and now we find out that Mueller’s case against Manafort is basically the same case Rosenstein investigated him for 8 years ago.

Tried searching but the only source for this is Judge Napolitano.
Was listening briefly to Hannity while in my car today, and I heard him quote one of the FBI agents who testified today about the search at Manafort's home. The agent said they had been given a key, but that he didn't know who had supplied it. When they arrived at 6 a.m., and got no response, they used the key to enter the home.
Does anyone know anything more on this?

Double jeopardy only comes into play when one is cleared in court. One specific branch/department/Law Enforcement agency dropping an investigation doesn’t count.
