DON'T GET NUKED
The Navy and Marine Corps rightly spend much of their time on chemical, biological and radiological training. As bombs and triggering devices become more mobile and terrorists become more sophisticated, it is important to prepare ourselves for disaster while hoping that it will be avoided. Regarding chemical and biological warfare, it is especially difficult to believe that something so small and invisible can be so deadly and dangerous. Just a little toxin in the air . . . and the next thing you know you're doing the "funky chicken" on the ground. Bad attitudes can be like that, too! Invisible and deadly. So can negativity, apathy, lethargy, and passivity. You can't really see those invisible attitude-toxins. But they are deadly poison. Just one little taste . . . and destruction of the soul follows.
Prayer: Heavenly God and Protector of our lives ... Give us a zest for life. Protect us from all the poisons and toxins that threaten our soul and spirit. Help us to suit up with anticipation and excitement for all which life has to offer. Cause us to breathe in the fresh air of purity and righteousness. And, Lord, if there does come a time of destruction and war, protect us from any form of chemical, biological, or nuclear warfare. May common sense and peace prevail in this troubled world and bring us hope. Amen.

I’ve been fighting a huge hadache for several hours. I’m giving up and going to bed...maybe to sleep.
May sleep be with you both.

Work? Did problems continue plaguing you this week or just getting a good head start on next week?
Glad you were able to get everything done before the rain moved in.
It was very exciting to see that crate’s bottom at long last. Too bad I didn’t have the camera with me to get a pic if it. I’d frame it and hang it on the wall. LOL!!!
Yep, the heating pad’s been a close friend all evening. :-)

I’m not going to be up much longer either. Been a long week today. I’m too tired to get out of the chair. LOL
Sleep well. We don’t need you embarrassing yourself at church in the morning. :-)

Howdy, EGC! (((hugs)))
All is well here. Just hot. Same as everywhere else. It’s a beautiful morning. Only 80 at this time.
Hope you and Gizmo have a great day at the lake and that there are no storms to keep you away.

Penny LOVES our new covered porch, which runs the length of the trailer. She waits eagerly for me to open the screen door and then prances out, runs from one end to the other a few times, and then lies down. I eat my breakfast out there and she sleeps at my feet. It’s so lovely! :-)
After I post my threads today, I think I will take a ride on Blue.

Made it to RI and everything rained out today. Class is great with old school nuts from Cali over here.
Going to try again Sunday for the Harbor cruises and a demolition derby in Seekonk, MA.
Sometimes a good class of folks will wake you right up!
I will enjoy this trip in Liberal Land.
PS. I watched NASCAR qualifying in the lobby of the hotel and then switched it over to the Presidents Ohio Rally. Good times for all in Coventry. Ha :^)
