Country music star Eric Church is making his feelings about the NRA very clearand they arent pleasant.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the signer cast blame on the NRA for Congress lack of action after the Las Vegas massacre, the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history that left 58 people dead and more than 800 injured.
I blame the lobbyists, Church told the magazine. "And the biggest in the gun world is the NRA.
Church was a headliner at the Route 91 Harvest Festival where the shooting took place, performing just two nights earlier. His fans were among the victims, and, understandably, it got to him.
It got dark for me for a while, the signer admitted. I went through a period, a funk, for six months at least. I had anger. Ive still got anger. Something broke in me that night, and it still hasnt healed. Theres a part of me that hopes it haunts me forever.
The shooting also seems to have warped his views on firearms a bit, although Church still claims hes a Second Amendment guy" who owns about half a dozen rifles, shotguns and pistols.

Is he bro country? The little Ive read about him suggested alt-country. some of which is OK, but most of them know full well that theyre attempting to undermine the patriotic underpinnings of traditional country music. The bro-country types just make it all ridiculous.
I blame Eric Church for the shooting/deaths. (Makes as much sense)
Country music lost its adulthood, if you know what I mean. I gave up on new stuff years ago and only listen to classic country and bluegrass these days when I listen to country music. Even Dolly Parton publicly sold out to the sodomites.
Bullitt: You sell whatever you want, but don't sell it here tonight.
Chalmers: Frank, we must all compromise.
Bullitt: Bullshit!...
Bullitt: ...get the hell out of here...now.
LMAO, that is it exactly.
What’s a signer?
So he’s basically 70’s rock masquerading as country?
Just asking, I have no idea what bro country is. Can’t keep up with the shifting language so I quit trying.
He’s got some form of mental illness.
He also advocates for marijuana and is known as the modern day Willie Nelson by his peers. Glad I don’t devote any of my time to this garbage Nashville throws at us today.
Much of “modern” country music is unmemorable.
I had to search to know who Eric Church used to be. He had a couple of songs that I heard enough to recognize the names, but that’s it. I’m not going to miss him when he’s gone. Hopefully, that will be soon.
Who?
Singers should keep to what they do, not opening their stupid mouths on subjects they have no knowledge of.
Almost as repulsive as 'rap' .. spit
Who the hell is Eric Church ?
Agree.
In 2014, Church claimed he started bro-country, although most say Florida-Georgia line. He since has migrated more to alt-country, but you’re right, both variations are attempting to destroy traditional/real country music, driven by a handful of mega publishing companies and the empty NYC & LA suits who run them.
And still doesn’t change that Church is an asshat who just destroyed his career. He won’t be able to cross over to pop, as did the Chixie Dicks.
