National Geographic Admits 'Starving Polar Bear' Was a Bit of a Fraud
Independent Sentinel ^ | July 27, 2018 | S. Noble

Remember that video of an emaciated Baffin Island polar bear that went viral last December? It became the poster bear for climate change. National Geographic made a stunning admission - it was a bit bogus.

The Statement:

National Geographic went too far in drawing a definitive connection between climate change and a particular starving polar bear in the opening caption of our video about the animal. We said, "This is what climate change looks like." While science has established that there is a strong connection between melting sea ice and polar bears dying off, there is no way to know for certain why this bear was on the verge of death. This is an updated version of the video.

In other words, it was completely bogus. There was zero evidence the bear’s condition and climate change were tied together.

To deny climate change is stupid. Why planet earth experiences ice ages every few millenniums? And why do those ice ages disappear with global warming which follows?

Just look up in the sky and you will see the cause. It is our Sun causing climate changes. Sun is million times bigger than planet earth. And the Sun’s activity is not constant, but is cyclical.

Man’s effect on earth is so puny, the astronauts circling the earth at aprox 110 miles high orbit can’t see a single man made object, except the great wall of China which shows up as a faint barely perceptible squiggly line.

It looks like that ‘original’ video was either shot in slow motion or slowed to make the bear appear to be in even more distress.

I know! I know!

{hand in air, flailing to get attention}

They can install a thermostat on the Sun. That way, they can turn it up when things get too cold and turn it down when things get to hot.

:)

The planet’s been around for a really long time. For National Geographic to try to push their agenda based on one snapshot of one event in one spot at one point in time as proof of anything is the height of ignorance combined with arrogance and a very real disdain for the perceived intellect of their target audience.

Put simply: Nat Geo are propagandists playing to idiots.

Bears will die from an abscessed tooth. They stop eating when it hurts too bad, they get weaker, the infection may spread from the mandible and weaken them further....some will recover, some will die. Clearly this is not due to climate change.

It’s obviously due to lack of access to federally-funded free dental care for bears. Please notify Ocasio-Cortez to add BearCare to her platform...that will certainly get her elected.

Please, please, please elect her. It will insure the death of the DemonRats.

They don’t drink Coke. They are weight conscious so they only drink Diet Coke.

I don't know about that... saw one chugging down a Samuel Adams Winter Lager one day.

That Polar bear in the photo later got addicted to crack and shot and killed himself.

I blame global warming and the NRA!
