By now youve probably heard of polls that say Americans believe that Donald Trump is the worst president in history or that presidential scholars have ranked Trump dead last. I can tell you right now to ignore the polls and the so-called experts. While it may be too early to properly gauge presidential rankings for recent presidents, I am confident that history will ultimately judge Barack Obama as the worst president our nation has ever seen.
The mountain of evidence that condemns his presidency to the bottom of the barrel is overwhelming. In my just re-released book, The Worst President in History: The Legacy of Barack Obama, I document 200 reasons why history will prove my belief correct in the years to come. Below, I present six abbreviated reasons, which, I cant stress enough, are just the tip of the iceberg

The “Silent Revolution” of 1913 was done early in Wilson’s first term; the 16th & 17th Amendments and the creation of the Federal Reserve. Together they all created the necessary preconditions for the present massive federal administrative state.
The 16th Amendment and the Federal Reserve gave the Federal Government access to virtually unlimited fiscal resources. Without the money, the Federal Administrative State could not exist. The 17th Amendment removed the last real power that the states had as a check on the Federal Government. Before the 17th Amendment, state legislators could appoint Senators that would look out for State interests. Afterward, a Senator is just another federal elected position. Since campaign (bribe) money is fungible and can come from anywhere, Senators are only nominally beholden to the states they are supposed to represent. They are far more beholden to the bag men who bring them their bribes. The 17th Amendment killed the concept of Federalism that was a key element of our Constitutional Republic of limited Federal powers.
Wilson may not have been totally responsible for these things, as they were no doubt in progress before he took office. But I’ll pin them on him anyway.
Yes, you’re right.
I despise Barack Obama and know he is the 2nd worst president in history, but the absolute worst, in my opinion, is Woodrow Wilson. From his drastic mishandling of the Spanish Flu pandemic to his lying to the American people about keeping us out of the European war. From his signing of the Federal Reserve Act to his League of Nations. And his lying to the people about his stroke, to his overt racism that modern Dems want swept under the rug...Wilson was a disaster in multiple ways. Too many to list in one post. He was our first Leftist president in the modern sense, the taproot for much of what evolved and went wrong in our politics over the past century.
The Civil War was inevitable. It may have been inevitable because of the compromises at the Constitutional Convention and the structural flaws resulting therefrom. It may have been inevitable because of Eli Whitney (the cotton gin was only half, the concept of interchangeable parts was the other half). It may have been inevitable because of the Missouri Compromise. It may have been inevitable due to the Nullification Crisis. It may have been inevitable because of the Judiciary’s failure to prevent it in Dred Scott v. Sanford. None of those can be laid at Buchanan’s feet.
In any event, the Civil War was going to happen. And it is a good thing that the Union won it.
Oh no...Wilson was propped up by the media of the day too. Examples...they knew of his stroke but didn’t report it. They knew of his drastic mishandling of the flu pandemic and didn’t report it. That alone cost many thousands of American lives.
I would be happy to never hear that silly name in my life again.
See my reason #1 - it covers Marxists.
Dividing the country and encouraging the victim mentality was the worst thing he did.

HE WAS NEVER ELIGIBLE!
BOTH PARTIES CONSPIRED TO VIOLATE THE CONSTITUTION!
I’m still pulling for Jimmah Carter as the worst. He had only one term to drag the nation down into malaise, double digit inflation, gas lines, ineffectualness in foreign matters, losing Iran to the mullahs, calling his opponents racists, etc.
And THEN he has had thirty seven years of being our worst ex-president ever, encouraging our enemies and those of Israel, speaking ill constantly of any Republican president and being an obnoxious globalist so much that he makes Obama look like a rank amateur as an anti-American.
B. Obama is the worst, the one who hates this country. LBJ is a close second.
Far more than 6, but not enough room on FR to post them. Would cook the server.
Jimmah Carter agrees.
Sorry. Jimmuh is still the worst, because Hussein is technically disqualified - Kenyans cannot be President of The US.
How about the war on cops that rages today? How about the destruction of the military through left wing social experiments such as homosexuals, cross dressers and women in combat arms? There are so many more.
Goodgrief!
If six reasons is all you can find, you can't be trying very hard...
Hell, you dont need to convince me.
