They use their own data, I don’t allow my WIFI to be used by employees. Putting a cell blocker up will have the feds knocking at my door so fast your head will spin, already looked into it. I just get so tired of listening to the one who say “I have to have it, in case of emergency” or “I need to stay in touch with the kids”.

I’m 53, my whole generation grew up, worked, and lived our young lives just fine without the damn things. People have gotten so use to having them that watching them without one is like a heroin addict going through withdraw. They are shocked and so upset when they go through a dead zone, hell I wish my business WAS a dead zone. I wonder if there’s a machine I could buy that would work like a blocker but actually have a use as well. HF welders perhaps? IDK, just tired of looking around and watching people think they can check the things anytime they want during business hours.
I tend to agree. I spend a fair amount of time on German trains and buses, and observing people making use out of their cellphones. The big App right now is WhatsApp. You hardly ever see anyone communicating or posting via Facebook.

How could I ever cope, not receiving 100 SANDWICH PHOTOS every day at noon, from people I barely know and barely ever see..?
Remember when computers got more than one font, size scaleable, and so theyd screw around with that a lot..?

My wife runs youth programs at two parishes in SoCal. No cell phones are allowed to be used during church activities. Once they get over the withdrawal, the kids actually enjoy themselves. :)
He didn’t lose anything. His net worth didn’t change. What changed is the amount of money he would have obtained if he had sold all his stock at that price. He had a potential loss.

A few years ago I was renovating my mother-in-law’s house prior to putting up for sale.
One of the young workers was constantly checking his cellphone.
I told him he had to leave his cellphone in his truck and could check it at noon.
Needless to say he was so addicted to constantly checking his cellphone that was the last time he came to work.
We all should have shorted their stock.
I heard there’s one cookin’ out there.
It appears people are moving investments to the manufacturing and other traditional American business sectors.
Family dinners together, writing letters, phone call every now and then. Cards at appropriate times?
