We write to refer the following individuals for investigation of potential violation(s) of federal statutes. In doing so, we are especially mindful of the dissimilar degrees of zealousness that has marked the investigations into Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the presidential campaign of Donald Trump, respectively. Because we believe that those in positions of high authority should be treated the same as every other American, we want to be sure that the potential violations of law outlined below are vetted appropriately.

The "quiet" Jeff Sessions of today is a puzzlement to me as well. I'm a critic of his -- I haven't said nice things about his work performance recently. Yet Trump has not shown him the door. There's always a bigger picture than what we see. And it seems Sessions plays a part in it. As much as I dislike mea-culpas, I hope to be pressed into extending one to Sessions.

Strzok and Page have both appeared before Congress for multiple hearing sessions. It appears McCabe and Comey may soon have their security clearances revoked. Clinton has been embarrassed and implicated by the head of foreign government on live television. Suddenly we become aware that the Lynch / Clinton tarmac meeting was pre-arranged.

There has been considerable movement on these fronts. I see a lot of progress. Yes, I want the red meat on my plate too. But the government advancing this fast in just 90 days with the main stream media working a full court press against the truth coming out is pretty astounding.

My bet is that Kavanaugh is the "little win" for October. The timing of that has a couple benefits I can see in the month that follows. There has been progress; see Post 25. The Super Bowl is four quarters of fifteen minutes apiece that take almost four hours to play. We are in the fourth quarter. It can feel like there is no movement on the field, but that is because every movement on the field is critical in timing and execution.

It does seem strange that the letter is dated more than 3 months ago. Either something is about to happen, and the letter writers want to be sure they get credit, or nothing is going to happen and the letter writers want to stir the pot.

Nothing strange about. Go on any Congressman’s website and find three month old stuff.

A referral is just a letter. No one is obliged to take action on it except maybe acknowledging it. It’s likely seen by the DOJ as just a publicity stunt.
