A Republican congressman from Minnesota has a long history of making deeply misogynistic comments on the radio, including lamenting that women can no longer be called "sluts."
CNN's KFile reviewed several months of audio from Rep. Jason Lewis on the "Jason Lewis Show," a syndicated radio program Lewis hosted from 2009 until 2014 with the tagline "America's Mr. Right." In one instance, while arguing that "young single women" vote based on coverage of birth control pills, Lewis said those women were not human beings and were without brains.
Lewis, who was narrowly elected to represent Minnesota's 2nd District in 2016, is considered one of the most endangered House Republicans in the midterm election. CNN rates the race as a "toss up," the most competitive designation.
Lewis can be heard on the radio repeatedly demeaning women, and particularly women voters, in 15 months of audio provided to KFile by Michael Brodkorb, the former deputy chair of the Republican Party of Minnesota. Brodkorb, who is currently a columnist for the MinnPost and works in public affairs, initially revealed some of Lewis' radio comments in a column in February 2016. KFile contacted Brodkorb after seeing his 2016 column and requested raw audio files of Lewis' show, which he provided.

Jason Lewis is facing a tough re-election campaign against a pro-abortion feminist who makes Nancy Pelosi look like a moderate. The strategy is clear enough: brand Jason as a male chauvinist pig to win the women's vote in this marginal district near Minneapolis, replacing a staunch conservative with a lefty who would vote to expand 0bama care to her version of Britain's national health care system.
That isn't the only issue in this election, though.
Ensuring a strong economy, downsizing bloated federal agencies, maintaining our national infrastructure, immigration, repealing Obama- and Clinton-era laws based on the false premise of stopping "climate change" -- none of these goals will be realized if the Dems regain control of Congress.

It doesn't surprise me at ALL that some cuckold of a Minnesotan GOP-e swamp creature is doing the Dems' "binders full of women" hatchet job for them.
Funny thing is, the diversity is biting the Dems as well: Phylis Kahn lost her seat to a Somali (not exactly the Scandahoovian stereotype of a Minnesotan) last time around.
He was a common-sense conservative.
The one weird thing he did was to quit in the middle of a show. He walked off and never came back.
It was like Bilbo Baggins disappearing at the birthday party and never being seen in Hobbiton again.
All this really came to a head when that woman of loose morals went before Congress to testify about how she needed her birth control given to her at other people’s expense.

Republicans are more likely to cave in, unfortunately. Too many do not understand that politics is not some game played with large sums of money, Hollywood celebrities and advertising agencies. Too many have never bothered to read such classics as Economics in One Lesson and The Law or they would fight just as hard for the people they were elected to represent as the opposition does for the Deep State.
It takes someone with an understanding of history, economics and popular culture as well as having a pleasing personality to make a good (i.e., right-thinking) politician.
Jason Lewis is highly qualified in all of the above and has not yet succumbed to the go-along-to-get-along culture of the U.S. Congress, at least not yet.
He should get another term, then we can see if he is still on the straight and narrow after four years of exposure to lobbyists, bureaucrats and the anti-Republican media.

Sounds expensive. I bet the accompanying PR campaign would cost a pretty penny too, if Democrats had to pay for their own infomercials. Are they going to report this in-kind donation to the FEC?
Minneapolis has certainly become a Marxist/Moslem shithole over the past 20 years (though it had a hardcore Communist Party presence since the 30’s, esp. through the DFL party.
