President Trump is expected to travel to Joint Base Andrews on Wednesday afternoon, according to an FAA travel notice.
The visit will coincide with the return of the remains of a Secret Service agent who unexpectedly died in Scotland.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment confirming the trip.
In a statement released Wednesday afternoon, the president identified the agent as special agent Nole Edward Remagen.
“Our hearts are filled with sadness over the loss of a beloved and devoted Special Agent, husband, and father. Our prayers are with Special Agent Remagen’s loved ones, including his wife and two young children,” Trump said in a statement. “We grieve with them and with his Secret Service colleagues, who have lost a friend and a brother.”
“Melania and I are deeply grateful for his lifetime of devotion, and today, we pause to honor his life and 24 years of service to our Nation,” Trump said.
Remagen was a member of the Secret Service for 19 years.
The FAA advisory indicates Trump will be traveling in the area of the Air Force base between 4:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
The Secret Service announced Tuesday that an agent who accompanied Trump on his trip last week to the United Kingdom died after suffering a stroke.
Remagen suffered the stroke during Trump's July 15 stay at his Turnberry golf resort in Scotland, the Secret Service said.

Slick Willie and the Hildabeast are still receiving Secret Service protection. I wonder if the assignments go to relative rookies or as punishment for more senior agents who have been disciplined.

According to Gary Aldrich’s book Bill Clinton was decent to the SS agents, but Hillary treated them like dirt.
Read another book by an ex-SS guy where the lowest job on the totem pole was sitting in 90-year old Bess Truman’s driveway in Independence, Missouri keeping watch on her (she came out once a day to get the mail).
One step above that was driving Nixon’s plane-averse dogs to San Clemente, California.

Other agents have said being assigned to them is a form of punishment.
It will be interesting to see how the hate-Trump will try to spin this.
