Earlier today it was reported that Robert Mueller is seeking to give immunity to five potential witnesses in the Paul Manafort trial according to a new court filing Tuesday. It’s now suspected that two of the witnesses are creepy and criminal Podesta brothers, the Democrats’ poster boys.
Mueller is filing the requests under seal; Manafort is facing charges of bank and tax fraud and his trial begins next Wednesday in the Eastern District of Virginia.
The five potential witnesses have not been charged and their identity has not been released to the public.
Via NBC reporter Tom Winter: NEW: The Special Counsel’s Office notifies the court that they will seek immunity for up to 5 people to testify under conditions of immunity in the upcoming trial against Paul Manafort in Virginia. They say these people have not been publicly named before in the case.

Why do you say that? Just because one of them has pictures of young boys in their underwear and tied up in his living room (the pictures are there; maybe they were tied up there, too).
This is so outrageous, but, if there is ever going to be any accountability for Mueller’s misconduct as FBI Dir, the Hatfill persecution, hounding Bruce Ivins to suicide... ignoring IRS abuses, and all the rest.. he and his corrupt prosecutors need to go way out on a limb, and then have it sawn off.
If Mueller merely went thru the motions, and did a proper job on this investigation, he would able to retire with his “impeccable” reputation intact.
But he’s swinging for the fences to nail Trump. And, just as the corrupt activities of the Comey FBI in 2016 actually helped Trump and exposed and destroyed those crooks, I believe the hand of Providence is going to provide the same accountability for Mueller.

It has always been about protecting Hillary and her buddies. The only way to do this was the smokescreen of "Russian collusion". Anybody who remotely has something on the Clintons and their ties to Russia are suddenly investigated by Mueller. This is to shut them up.

Yes, Manafort used to work for them.
The Podesta Group was hired by Manafort to lobby for the Ukranian government. Podesta group never registered as a foreign lobbiest - which is against the law - but did so retroactively as soon as Mueller started looking into Manafort .
I stated a year ago, this was the deal.
Grant immunity from ANY prosecution to the “players”, in return for testifying... which means going behind closed doors, off the record, and claiming the 5th.
This means they can “testify” against Trump, with no verification... and then they can say “20 witnesses testified under oath against Trump”....

Immunity works two ways. Now the Podestas are hostile witnesses and can be examined as such.
Given how much sunlight exposure this would bring unto the Brothers Podesta forever (ie they'll never work in DC again after this), one wonders if either or both might refuse.
It has gone so far, I think it proves there is more at work than I know about. Trump is smart. At this point I do not see him being stupid enough to allow any of this, so I assume he knows something I do not.
Maybe Trump isn’t as smart as us, and is more timid than us, and is more afraid of conflict than us, and doesn’t know what he is doing as well as we would in his place.
But I doubt it. He knows something. And just like his tweets at Kim were a disaster, and chiding NATO was a disaster, and being controversial in the primary was a disaster, and triggering the left was going to give Hillary the election, and then all of those turned out to be brilliant, I think this may turn out differently than everyone is saying.
At the very least, Trump’s history should buy him some slack from us.

It is way past time for Mueller and a bunch of the rest of the coup plotters to be taken on a helicopter ride. Sigh, only a fantasy, unfortunately.
