It has gone so far, I think it proves there is more at work than I know about. Trump is smart. At this point I do not see him being stupid enough to allow any of this, so I assume he knows something I do not.

Maybe Trump isn’t as smart as us, and is more timid than us, and is more afraid of conflict than us, and doesn’t know what he is doing as well as we would in his place.

But I doubt it. He knows something. And just like his tweets at Kim were a disaster, and chiding NATO was a disaster, and being controversial in the primary was a disaster, and triggering the left was going to give Hillary the election, and then all of those turned out to be brilliant, I think this may turn out differently than everyone is saying.

At the very least, Trump’s history should buy him some slack from us.

I once held that belief, but I feel that unless something changes in the next 60 days, Trump will be burdened by this indefinitely until he is either impeached, simply opts to not run again, or loses a re-election campaign.

Trump & Sessions are either running a brilliant operation against the entire group, including surveillance of Mueller, or he’s merely become trapped by a series or bad decisions or recommendations - making Sessions AG, accepting Session recommendation to appoint Rosenstein as deputy, not asking for Comey to resign day 1, not wholesale firing everyone at DOJ and State that worked for 44 on day 1, bringing in the wrong person to replace Comey at the FBI.

Since the GOP Senate has said strongly they won’t confirm a replacement and Sessions won’t quit on his own, I believe Trump is trapped... because Rosenstein being acting AG would be worse. He had a #3 AG who could have filled in after Rosenstein was fired, but she left for her “dream job” at.... guess where.... Walmart to be head of legal.

Trump’s only non-nuclear option at this point is to trash public opinion of the SC which is why Rudy showed up. I believe if he fired everyone and plead his case he would be impeached but not convicted. He would lose the balance of his presidency to that fight and not run again.

Hopefully an event or the revelation of new evidence disrupts this. Now would be a good time for a hacker to dump the real dirt from the servers. It’s either that or someone like Page and a handful of FBI agents testify against everyone else to state the evidence is cooked.
