A former British ambassador to the US was brutally beaten by two thugs at London's Victoria Station.
Sir Christopher Meyer, 74, was left covered in blood after the attack as he took the Tube home on Wednesday afternoon. --snip-- "I’m absolutely shocked by the level of the brutality. They really beat him. It’s appalling — like something you would see in a war zone."
Police have arrested a man and a woman over the attack, according to Lady Meyer, who said she planned to raise the issue of violent crime in the House of Lords.

Thanks for keeping us up to date on how much progress the British are making in their project to turn their country into a complete stinking, um, hole. When you take all defensive weapons away from law-abiding people, then punish them if they defend themselves anyway, this is what you get. To see that it is affecting the upper-class elite that design and protect the policy is remarkable progress! Too bad he doesn’t remember his successful victimization achievement.

They just wanted to beat him up because he was an American. The US consular staff warned Americans to keep a low profile during Trump’s visit, precisely because of the possibility of leftist/Muslim violence against them. Apparently the rhetoric of the left and the Islamics is over the top and is meant to incite violence.
