Stop giving them assurances and "playing nice". Tell them the USSC has as much right to limit or eliminate Roe as it had to discover the BS it's built on in the first place.

They're screaming about getting in the streets and fighting and how normal political consequences will lead to Civil War since they've totally failed so let's get down to it.

I don't have too many years left in this mortal coil and I'd damn sure rather face the sh?t than have it pushed off for my grandchildren to deal with.

The "liberal" mindset (is anything but liberal, but that's another rant) reads The Constitution and somehow finds in there that killing babies is "protected"... That same mindset however can't seem to find any protections for defense and believes we should all be disarmed.

The "liberal" - who are we kidding, leftist/socialist/fascist - mind is an awe inspiring, awful place...

Her view is pretty much mainstream, and if the GOP wants to win it will stick with government of the people, by the people. If you try to govern according to the ideology of 18% of the voters you will get 18% of the vote (unless you lie to people and they believe you). You won’t get much if anything done if you stick with the 18% as opposed to the majority who want limitations on abortion.

Tell that to the Founding Fathers. It's the rights of the people to dictate how they are governed for the common welfare...

This may not be the US Constitution but it is the DoI that was the groundwork for the Constitution...

That, to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed."

This implies that the people, regardless of the religious or philosophical beliefs, have the right to create laws that they deem necessary to secure "domestic tranquility" and "promote the general welfare".

Here's more evidence that this Tomi chick just gets air-time because she thought to be eye-candy. . .I mean, what is she, 25? 26?. . .she has no life experience except for being a fast-talker . . she should go sell cars or pharmaceuticals.

BTW, the Constitution is not affirming a pro-life belief that the fetus is a child. The Constitution affirms the inalienable rights of the individual. The issue is that NO ONE. .not pro-lifers or pro-abortion . . .NO ONE. ..knows when, in fact, human life begins. Both sides have only beliefs about whether the fetus is fully human or not. The right Constitutional path is, given that no one knows the moment when life begins and because pursuing life as one of our endowed rights is, therefore, evidence that life is precious. ..it is in the interest of society and thus the Constitution to err on the side of protecting life in ALL its known phases, i.e. from conception to birth.

Bottomline: Tomi is a ignorant big mouth ass!!

Even Darth Vader Ginsburg called Roe bad law. It should be a decision at the state level according to the Constitution, although no good state would give sanction to human sacrifice.

I think her remarks can be understood as meaning, not that Roe v. Wade should never be overruled, but that a Justice should not take his seat on the Court with the intention of finding an opportunity to overturn Roe. I would agree with that: it's a pretty standard view of judicial objectivity.

However, I disagree with her contention that a Justice's having the intention of "gunning" for Roe would be unConstitutional. There's nothing in the Constitution that requires a Justice to start from the assumption that all previous decisions are valid. Stare decisis is extra-Constitutional judicial philosophy ... as, indeed, is the whole concept of judicial review as practiced since Marbury v. Madison. We all (most all) accept it, but it's not in the text.
