Tomi Lahren began her appearance on Fox and Friends this morning by saying she wanted to clarify her statements in which she argued against overturning Roe v. Wade. Instead, Lahren doubled down, adding fuel to the fire by saying that conservatives who want to go after Roe might as well spit on the Constitution. Said Lahren:
My problem is with some of my fellow conservatives who have put it out there that we are, quote: coming for Roe v. Wade. That is a mistake, because we are putting it out there and implying that we are sending a justice to the bench to carry out religious judicial activism which is a mistake and its unconstitutional. And if we as conservatives are going to imply that, if thats going to be our messaging, we might as well spit on the Constitution.

It time for Toni to come home...and rounds/ thune too
As she stated it, she is absolutely correct. “That is a mistake, because we are putting it out there and implying that we are sending a justice to the bench to carry out religious judicial activism which is a mistake and its unconstitutional.”
Using a religious standard as a basis to make law is unConstitutional. It’s commonly called separation of Church and State. That’s what she’s saying, and she is correct. What would have clarified her position would have been if she had added, “If Republicans were to say they are going to return such court decisions back to the states where they belong, THAT would be Constitutional because it is an action based on the Constitution, not an activist SCOTUS decision.
It would appear that Tomi is a good bit smarter than most of the people jerking their knees.
Roe Vs Wade had Nothing to do with the Constitution and everything to do with Judicial Activism, Tomi.
We know these people treat abortion as dogma.
The fact of the matter is the Constitution doesnt mention it anywhere.
Its not specifically protected and no right to privacy gives you the right to kill another human being.
I think we’re watching a movie, this pick is just like the person he’s replacing and everyone knows it.
The balance of the court has not changed one bit.
She’s pro-abortion.
She got kicked off the Blaze for saying so on-air on her show.
FNC hired her as a contributor/opinionist.
I remember her on the One channel.
Stop giving them assurances and "playing nice". Tell them the USSC has as much right to limit or eliminate Roe as it had to discover the BS it's built on in the first place.
They're screaming about getting in the streets and fighting and how normal political consequences will lead to Civil War since they've totally failed so let's get down to it.
I don't have too many years left in this mortal coil and I'd damn sure rather face the sh?t than have it pushed off for my grandchildren to deal with.
JMHo
She’s blond and attractive. That’s the only criteria for being a female Fox contributor. Brains are of no importance.
Because she is talking as if she were in the vicinity of the Constitution, I say, “Yer not from around here, are you?”
If Roe was overturned, each state would get to set its own policy, as they could and did before 1973.
No one favors eliminating contraceptives, punishing women or curtailing their reproductive decisions.
Most Americans want the unborn protected in our laws and protecting is a fundamental value of society.
Liberals think Americans who disagree with them want an anti-dystopia out of The Handmaids Tale. Nothing could be further from the truth.
And this is a deeply felt issue that Roe simply didnt settle.
But she’s blonde and skinny.
Lots of people on our side will pseudo-complain about this, and then wait for her to whisper sweet nothings to them again.
Insert the Dumb Blonde joke here.
You need to wake up and smell the coffee, sister.
Here’s how shallow F&F and Lahren are; if she looked like Ruth Bader Ginsburg she’d never be heard from.
The "liberal" - who are we kidding, leftist/socialist/fascist - mind is an awe inspiring, awful place...
Dumber than a bag of hammers.
Her view is pretty much mainstream, and if the GOP wants to win it will stick with government of the people, by the people. If you try to govern according to the ideology of 18% of the voters you will get 18% of the vote (unless you lie to people and they believe you). You won’t get much if anything done if you stick with the 18% as opposed to the majority who want limitations on abortion.
Sweetheart. Why dont you organize a constitutional amendment. One that says killing babies is just fine.
I doubt youll get a majority of states, but hey, thats how you do it.
Failing that, shut up.
Isn’t Tomi glad she wasn’t Aborted??
