That is the point so many others miss. We can’t get out because of family and the financial hit of losing jobs, nhomes, and non transportable medical plans. What we need is a “President Trump” clone to be our Governor and clean things up.
Long past the breaking point, Californian (& illegals) will continue to vote overwhelmingly DEM for the foreseeable future. Nothing short of a civil war to *greatly* thin out the numbers will change it.
Of course the rich libs will be exempt with their giant houses, pools, water features and gardens.
We have some great Conservative former-cali neighbors. However, there are many cali-transplants who are idiot LIB losers. They come to infect. They lack any sense that their LIB idiocy created what they were running away from. THAT kind of former cali person we do not want near us.
I’d bet if that was asked, most would respond they weren’t born in the state.
Property tax on that $2 million hovel is $25,000 PER YEAR.
I paid $25,250 for my first house in Los Angeles.
With our only child having move to Texas almost two years ago, I just have to convince myself I can live in the Texas heat and humidity for half the year.
Add to the mix open arms for low or no income invaders. I'd think it all leads to the complete and irreversible destruction of the middle class. Add into the mix those out-of-control fires....the straw that breaks the camel's back?
California has enough water. It is what they are doing with it that is the problem.
Sending millions of usable water into the ‘Delta’ to ‘protect’ a small fish called the Delta Smelt is the problem. That fish is not eatable....doesn’t work for bait....and it NOT a native to Calif.
However, Thousands of acres in the central San Joaquin Valley have been turned to waste by taking that water from the farmers that feed this country & sending it into the Delta & to the ocean.
Taking down dams & refusing to build more water reservoirs is also the problem.
Nothing will change until we build a wall around it and cut off all support. Six months and they’ll be begging to come back.
...When will California reach the breaking point?...
I’d say about 1974, when Governor Moonbeam was first elected.
I always see the rah rah Texas crowd Im with you. Not really a Texas fan. And with their demographics i think theyll eventually catch up to California.
I believe Israel offered to help with the desalination plants. Thanks to this technology, Israel no longer has a water shortage. But since today’s libs are also mostly anti-Semites, of course they said no.
I want out of Cali and have resigned myself that wherever I move, the weather will not be as good as here. Nice weather just isn’t a good enough reason anymore to put up with all the bad things about living here.
Breaking into three states? The local water board will see the usage of water and if it increases from the norm set then I guess the water GESTAPO agents will be paying a visit.
What part of Texas?
Some parts....like west Texas, are arid (low humidity). Central TX is less humid than E/SE TX.
Where would you live the other half of the year (that’s not hot/humid)?
The breaking point will come when people in the other states (or Congress) vote to expel California from the Union. Or at least demote California from a state to a territory, so their government can be repaired/replaced without them interfering with how the rest of America is run.
In which state do you reside?
People able flee, bringing their foolishness with them to infect their new refuge.
maybe the wall should be built around CALIFORNIA, to keep them IN.
You hit the nail right on the head
I think you’re being unfair.
There are many good people in the Golden State who do vote, who do try to set California on a better course, but the real power is in a smaller, very powerful elite.
Much like New York State and probably New Jersey. It is the largest and most concentrated cities that are doing the damage.
