1.) NARAL fears her:
2.) Planned Parenthood fears her:
3.) Seasoned Democrat politicians have attacked her Catholicism
4.) Likewise, Senator Dick Durbin a fellow Catholic, may have illegally grilled Barrett during her Senate confirmation hearing last fall, attempting to impose a religious litmus test on the nominee:
5.) Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer has attempted to use scare tactics to make her a toxic choice: If chosen as the nominee, she will be the deciding vote to overturn Roe v. Wade.
6.) The New York Times published a hit piece, hoping to derail Barretts 2017 confirmation. The Grey Lady was disturbed that Barretts Senate interrogators had failed to call attention to her affiliation with an ecumenical Christian community, the People of Praise in South Bend, Indiana.
7.) MSNBC mocked Barrett for her faith. NewsBusters.org reports:
On Tuesday, MSNBC hosts and correspondents displayed their religious intolerance by attacking the faith of potential Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett. During one hour after another, Barretts membership in a faith group was ridiculed and listed as one of her potential weaknesses in a Senate confirmation fight. [...]
8.) Ruth Marcus at the Washington Post says she is a danger:
9.) CNNs Chris Cillizza insulted Amy Coney Barrett, and by association, the countrys entire female population, by deploying a misogynist attack, suggesting that if she were chosen as the nominee
10.) The very liberally-minded folks at Slate.com alleged that Barrett belongs to what looks like a cult.
11.) The more Progressive Democrats attack her, the more likely [Barrett] is to be the nominee to replace Anthony Kennedy
Writing at legalinsurrection.com, Jacobson quotes an article in the Washington Post suggesting that Barrett is everything Trumps base could want. But she also gives Trump something less tangible: The opportunity to stoke a culture war.

RE: She adopted two Haitian kids, I know people are nervous that she may cave on the Refugees welcome appeals.
That is a big jump and a non-sequitur. Showing love for Haitian kids — strong enough to be their mother — is now a thing to be used against her? What baloney. If anything, it shows that she has a heart.
Now the next question is this — why doesn’t she “Adopt American”? ( to steal a phrase from Trump ). You might want to read this :
WHY IS IT EASIER TO ADOPT A CHILD FROM OVERSEAS THAN FROM ANOTHER STATE?
In fact, if anything, being both pro-life and an adoptive mother, she would be sympathetic to laws that make adoption EASIER for parentless American children.
But enough of these. If you want to know her judicial philosophy, she herself has articulated it. Read here:

“Have you ever tried to adopt an American baby? It can take years and years, if you can do it at all.”
BS. Wife worked CPS. I know the score. They are begging people to adopt American babies. The problem is no one wants the black kids and the white ones go quick. Of course, those same bigots will adopt foreign babies.
rE: Adding another two, especially foreign adoptees with who knows what problems, looks all too much like liberal virtue signaling.
Virtue signaling only applies if she is in-your-face and tells you to do things against your will because she wants to prove she is “superior” to you morally.
If you can show me that she lectured people to their faces regarding this then maybe you have a point.
Absent that, what she does with her own family and time ( especially if it does not affect her performance as a judge ) is her own business.
“And Laura Ingraham has 3 adopted foreign children, a girl from Guatemala, and two boys from Russia. Do you doubt her bona fides on immigration?”
Yes, I do. She also chose foreigner.
RE: Yes, I do. She also chose foreigner.
OK, what has Laura Ingraham advocated in regards to immigration policy?
Is she supportive or critical of Trump?
When?
I know the score.
You obviously do not.
Of course they are begging for people to adopt American babies. They aren't getting adopted because of American law, which makes more work for those employed in the American system.
RE: Add to that the fact that the Communist Pope wants to tear down our borders and there’s a recipe for disaster.
If you took the time to read FR thread on Pope Francis, you will see that there are MANY Roman Catholics who disagree with the Pope’s stance on immigration. What makes you think Amy Barrett is a total, unabashed Catholic who can’t think for herself and blindly follows everything Pope Francis says?
That's one reason why I don't want her, plus she has collected too many children. Who's going to bring them up? a nanny?
There is no comparison between killing the unborn and letting illegals into our country. The former is always a grave sin and the latter is not always a grave sin. Also, these two positions are not mutually exclusive
“Maybe because we had so many years of JUST them its someone elses turn.”
So you like Kagan, Ginsberg, Breyer (The Three Capos of The Apocalypse), and the Catholic Junta? Not much in the way of “family values” on the SCOTUS today!
Good list.
Very few talk about that. What has the history of the court’s justices been in regards to faith?
1. Jeannine Pirro is a TV judge, for all intents. Outside an elected post as an elected county judge, she's got no credentials for a judicial post.
2. Watching Ingraham cave in to that David Hogg dipsh!t should give you a clue about just how solid she'd be under pressure.
These are TV characters, people -- not solid legal minds.
Right on point.
Trump decides and won’t be referring to such articles, to help his decisions, as he goes about his business of MAGA!!!!!
Her virtue signaling by adopting two Haitians.
She is an orginalist, just like Scalia.

True. I wonder what the reaction will be when the rats go bat sh#t crazy on and attactive mon of 7 with a stellar resume.
Top of her class as an undergrad
Top of he class at ND law school
Recommended by every prof at her law school both liberal and conservative
Recommended by every one that clerked with her at the SC both liberal and conservative
. Twice voted best professor at ND by the students of ND.
Go ahead rats attack Judge Barrett over she religious views. We'll see how that goes down with the voters.
