Who on the list is both young and SUPER conservative..?
Divide & Conquer. I suppose such a long list will have the haters frothing with an auto-shotgun spreak.
Margaret Ryan of Virginia, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces
Armed Forces? I’m used to the number courts..
I remember how great I felt when Sessions was first named as Atty General, but just look how that turned out, right..?
I sure hope we can avoid a similar suprise this time....
Im sure the “protesters’ will start going to each of these judges homes in 321...
Gee, don’t see many from the 9th Circuit. Wonder why??
Sessions is AWOL from the biggest scandal in history.
Guys, Trump will do the very same thing he did with Gorsuch.
He simply sent a US Army plane to pick him up, far away from prying eyes and did it fast and quick before the MSM knew what was happening.
Just ask every one of them: is your favorite action movie Aliens?
Don Willett would be great. If I was president, Id pick him.
For the sole purpose of triggering liberals, he should add: Hannity, Rush, Mark Levine, Anne Coulter, Laura Ingrahm, and Jeanne Pirro into the mix.
And super clean with no dirt the dems can dig up to blackmail with. Last thing we need is some great pick who did something stupid a few years back.
He better tell whomever he nominates to be up front from the start--"Do you have ANY baggage that is going to come up during confirmation hearings? if so, just tell me now, we can shake hands and move on"
Every President has been disappointed by a supreme court nominee in my lifetime.
However, if we get a generally good constructionist, then overall it is a win.
Kennedy is a swing vote, but generally showed respect for the law.
Ginsburg, Breyer, Sotomayor or Kagan being replaced, that would change the dynamic of the court drastically.... As they have each shown the ability, time and time again, to completely ignore the law and rule for a desired outcome rather than what the law or constitution dictates.
The left, being insane, is going to act like Kennedy’s replacement is the end of the world, and will go absolutely ape poop regardless of who gets nominated... They will spend their powder on a lost cause, and then have nothing left when one of the 4 listed above gets replaced.
There is a very real possibility that 2 and as many as 3 of the 4 listed above (Sotomayor’s chronic illness could cut her term far shorter than others who have served on the court) may be replaced during Trump’s Presidency.
Oh ye of little faith and inability to look forward
Yeah, like dipping some grade school girl's pigtail into an inkwell!!
... and Judge Andrew Napolitano.
Who is going to give the Ted Kennedy speech of “Robert Bork’s America”, the speech which will attack the nominee of being in favor of women being impaled on coat hangars and all that?
Chuck Schumer maybe? He will say that (fill in the blank name) will send blacks to the back of bus, impale women on coat hangers, sentence immigrants to terms in Auschwitz type death camps, etc. etc. It’s coming. They are writing the speech now. The only change will be to fill in the blank with the name of the nominee, and change gender pronouns if needed, depending on whether it’s a man or a woman.
The nominee will be said to be the greatest threat to our liberty ever witnessed in the history of our republic. The nominee will be said to be the greatest threat to various liberal causes, such as abortion, same sex rights, immigrants, the poor, and also an enemy on climate change. The nominee will be said to be in favor of a despoiled environment. If the nominee is confirmed, we will all need to wear gas masks as the air gets dirtier and dirtier, etc. etc.
It’s coming. I just have a feeling about that.
But now that they can’t filibuster a nominee, as they tried to do with Gorsuch, what parliamentary manuvering can they do? Can the Democrats run away from Washington, leave town and prevent a quorum in the Senate so there’s no vote?
This has been a bad week for the liberals.
Who on the list is both young and SUPER conservative..?
