The fact that this was a 5-4 vote shows how politicized SCOTUS has become. This should have been a slam dunk for Trump.

It was a foregone conclusion that once this reached a court with a reputation to preserve, Trump couldn’t lose this one. The fact that it was not 9-0 demonstrates the poor quality of some of the judges sitting on the court.

This means the president can stop Mexican illegals!! The court rules the president has absolute power on immigration on national security grounds!! This is good news
Trump already said that he would deny access to the alien border crossers.

I bet you a bottle of rum that this decision was leaked to the press last week by the liberal justices, prior to is publication, and that’s why they invented the whole “immigrant” family separation BS.

I’m disgusted that this was 5-4. One individual could have scuttled the Constitution yet again.

Gee. Maybe they’ll get mad now, chant silly slogans, stop people from eating, hold “die-ins” in food stores and all of the other entertaining stuff they spend their time on.
Hahahaha.
Have a crappy day, leftist scum.

OK, great decision even if it was too close for comfort. Now we just need the SCOTUS to rule the right way on the mandatory union dues for public workers.

This ruling was a little slow in coming, perhaps, but eventually, if applied as it ought to be, should clearly justify holding ALL those who claim refugee status until their story can be sorted out.
To claim rights as a refugee, flight to the embassy of the country to which refuge is sought is the first and most probably successful strategy. Failing that, the border of the next nearest nation or principality is the most practical goal. Crossing two or more national frontiers kind of changes this into not a mere refugee flight, but a calculated invasion, with or without the complicity of the nations crossed in the intervening distance.
