Richard Benjamin Harrison -- known to millions of "Pawn Stars" fans as "The Old Man" -- has died, according to a post on the official Facebook page for Las Vegas' Gold and Silver Pawn shop, the setting for the hit reality show. He was 77 years old.
"The Old Man" is the father to Rick Harrison, who is the main star of the show and the current leader of the shop, often teaching viewers about the ins and outs of the pawn business.

He was the only one on the show who was sort of likeable.

He looked older than 77...
May he have entrusted himself to Christ alone.

So sorry to hear their dad and granddad has “crossed the great divide” into the great beyond. Enjoy the show, especially the episode, where his son and grandson surprised him with what the dream car of his youth.

Wow...I was surprised he was 77 at death.
The last show I recall seeing was from around 2012 or so, and I thought then he was probably knocking on the door of his '80's.
I have not watched it in quite a while...mainly because of that slob Chum or whatever they call him.
It was occasionally interesting and I DVR'd it to pick out the good stuff (antique weapons, coins, etc), but that fat ass came along...meh.
Anyway, to the Old Man, may you rest in peace.

I was thinking the same thing... My dad looked younger than the 'Old Man' when he passed at the ripe age of 87... Oh well, I guess that 'Old Man' Harrison did too much clean living.
My dad, not so much so... He drank and smoked until the day he left, not that I recommend such a life style.
My dad's common refrain... "If I knew I was going to live this long, I would have taken better care of myself."
