The Department of Homeland Security is warning employees to stay on alert after a senior official reportedly found a burned animal carcass at his Washington residence.
The acting deputy secretary of homeland security issued a memo Saturday warning staffers that “there may be a heightened threat” against them amid a national outcry over separated immigrant families at the border, CBS News reported.
“This assessment is based on specific and credible threats that have been levied against certain DHS employees and a sharp increase in the overall number of general threats against DHS employees — although the veracity of each threat varies,” Claire M. Grady said. “In addition, over the last few days, thousands of employees have had their personally identifiable information publically [sic] released on social media.”
The memo recommended that DHS employees “always keep doors and windows locked, “be aware of unexpected changes” at their homes and “utilize maximum security setting on social media platforms.”
“There are those who misconstrue your work in a negative way or seek to disrupt your work to advance outside agenda,” the memo stated. “Keep your heads held high and focused on the Department’s important missions. You are making a difference to secure our country. And in the meantime, let’s continue to be security-conscious and look out for each other.”

She is still very liberal, and now vets people at the border to see if they fit our rules, not criminals, etc. (Not exactly sure what the process is). My brother said that it is a frustrating job. I didn't press it, but I'm guessing she thinks that more should be allowed in.
Anyway - perhaps after she sees more, or if someone leaves a dead cat on her steps, she'll start seeing things differently.

I’m assuming the animal was probably a family pet, probably the cat. A classic Mafia warning. In this case, the Mafia is a little harder to nail, because it’s just a loose association of leftist wackos and radical leftist Democrat leaders who don’t even have the guts or the honesty to form a legitimate party of their own.
Attacks are all they have. No ideas, no positive program, just attacks. And they are getting more and more vicious. I honestly don’t know what is going to happen.
I was at a completely non-politically related, scholarly event last week and every time we sat down to eat together they started with a three-minute hate of Donald Trump and Republicans. I got up and left every time but they never got the message, because I honestly think it was inconceivable to them that everybody in their social sphere might not think (if you can call. It thinking) exactly as they did. And their rage when they talked about Republicans was really frightening.
I mean, heck, the average Republican, even a conservative one, is a total marshmallow and believes in things such as the rule of law, civility in discourse, etc. But the Dems see these very things as threatening.

Probably more should be allowed in, but the problem is that she is probably dealing with people who didn’t exactly apply but just tried to slip across and were apprehended. Many of those should not be allowed in, either because they have a criminal record, they have no reliable identification, or they are known to have gang connections. Most of them aren’t Mexicans, but Central Americans from lawless countries.
I have nothing against people who come up and apply for admission. I suspect a lot of them would be admitted if they actually apply legitimately. But Mexico has been sending the Central Americans our way as a propaganda move, even though, under international law, it is Mexico’s duty to either stop them or let them enter and stay in Mexico.
Can I come visit the US and do that too?
And bloody. As in all civil conflagrations much score keeping reprisals will take place.
I pray that the progressive leaders realize how much they personally stand to loose and pull their dogs of war back.
