1 1/2 min video at link.
The owner of the Virginia restaurant that banned his daughter, White House Press Sec. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, organized a mob and followed her family to their next restaurant where they yelled and screamed at them, Former Governor Mike Huckabee said Monday.
While national media have reported Sarah Sanders ouster from the restaurant on Friday, Theres a part of that story that has not been told, Mike Huckabee told radio host Laura Ingraham on Monday:
Once Sarah and her family left of course Sarah was asked to please vacate Sarah and her husband just went home, theyd had enough. But, the rest of her family went across the street to a different restaurant.
The owner of the Red Hen nobodys told this then followed them across the street, called people and organized a protest, yelling and screaming at them from outside the other restaurant and creating this scene.
A family member - who is ardently anti-Trump then went outside to confront and rebuke her fellow liberals, Huckabee says:
One of the members of Sarahs in-laws who were there by the way, most of her in-laws, not her mother in-law and father in-law, but most of them are very liberal. And, one of them walked out and said: 'Look, I dont like Trump. Im not a supporter. Im a far considered liberal but, you guys are embarrassing me and youre not helping your cause.'
It was ironic, and he said, Sarahs not even here; youre yelling and screaming at somebody whos not here."
Huckabee warned that Americans need to be wary of how dangerous this type of harassment is:
This is what the Left has been reduced to its really tragic. And, it is dangerous and thats what I think people need to recognize.
P
Yeah, I suppose thats true. I forget about the union people that stand outside grocery stores striking. I thought I had read something that target wouldnt let the Girl Scouts sell outside their store, but maybe Im not remembering correctly.
I suppose it becomes a matter of the fine line between obstructing business and not to, and harassment or not.
Theyll be crossing the line shortly, likely into violence, at the rate the left is losing it. I just hope our side has the patience to wait and let them get there first.
Thank you for the clarification.
ANTIFA is already doing violence.
Send the Secret Service after them!
“It allows them to say almost anything short of incitement to violence, libel, or obscenities but even most anti-obscenity laws have been overturned and libel defenses include parody, satire, sarcasm.”
There is freedom of speech and of lawful, orderly, peaceable assembly. A person’s rights stop where another person’s rights begin.
If someone’s speech results in a violent response, this does not make such speech “inciting violence”. However, there is such a thing as inciting violence. It is not protected speech, as you stated.
Intent is a major factor. When speech and assembling is done with the intent to harass and interfere with someone else’s rights, then their rights are being deprived.
There was no reasonable or legal cause for these people to FOLLOW this group to another restaurant. Even law enforcement are restricted in their ability follow someone without a warrant or reasonable suspicion.
It would be reasonable to follow someone who is fleeing from a crime they were witnessed to have committed. It would be reasonable to follow someone who has demonstrated an intention to commit an imminent crime. It is NOT reasonable to follow a person with the intent to harass or intimidate them, or to deprive them of their Constitutional rights.
We have a sitting representative (Maxine Waters) who is actually publicly advocating to harass and intimidate Trump cabinet members:
“If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd, and you push back on them. You tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”
Antifa and other leftists are already doing that to Trump supporters. Just wearing a MAGA hat could put you in harms way.
Laws that prohibit stalking, harassing, and attempting to intimidate others are NOT an infringement on free speech or lawful assembly. It is no different than anything else. A person can not claim that robbing a bank is an expression of free speech. No one is prohibiting them from their free speech. Free speech is not a license to break other laws.
And a storm trooper by action.
Now just a cotton pickin’ minit here. Let’s be fair. The victims aren’t necessarily different. I’m sure they’d be happy to deny service to Kanye West and follow him across the street and harass him and his, too.

What restaurant can stay in business if it only open for supper?
See discussion here:
There may be more than meets the eye at that place...
There is a difference between speech and commerce. Girl scouts promoting awareness of their group is probably protected. Girl scouts selling competing cookies with Target’s cookies on Target’s property is not protected.
I agree following them would be inappropriate and could constitute harassment. But isn’t it just that they simply crossed the street to eat at a different restaurant? I can’t say that this constitutes “following them” or “stalking”. If they walked many blocks, or drove in cars, I might see it differently.
The best point imo is that they continued to harass her family. They may have had some Constitutional rights to protest outside the restaurant but private citizens should have more protections than government officials. You mentioned restrictions on police - that stems directly from our civil rights against tyrannical behavior by government officials. Those do not apply to private citizens and likewise private citizens have greater protections against harassment.
Maxine Waters and I may disagree on 90% of all policy issues but in the extreme the last resort for the people is to physically remove the government. Of course, this comes with consequences including potentially the most dire of consequences. Anyone advocating it should know exactly what they are getting into. And if anyone did resort to violence because of her remarks to “surround, push back” she might find out what some of those consequences are. She was certainly very cavalier about her comments. She is drunk on power but is not immune from the long arm of the law.
Oh radical leftists, you picked the wrong folks to fight!
The people are starting to warm up. President Trump will get help.
ANTIFA picked the WRONG folks to fight. The anti-ANTIFA folks are armed.
There are many, many Americans besides those in police and military who are armed.
The radical left know not to pick a fight with Americans who are ARMED.
The left is in stage 4 of TDS.
