The 'dancing doctor' has defended videos of herself dancing over anesthetized patients during plastic surgeries, insisting she had the patients' consent and was 'safe' at all times.
Dr. Windell Davis-Boutte, whose medical license was suspended after the videos came to light, appeared on Good Morning America on Friday. She is hoping that an Atlanta judge will overturn Georgia's Composite Medical Board's decision earlier this month.
The doctor, who is being sued on the behalf of several patients who allege they had botched surgeries including a woman left permanently brain damaged by an operation, claims that the videos never put her patients at risk.
'The videos were pre-consented, staged, and done at a safe interval,' Dr. Windell Davis-Boutte said.

Lady, your medical career and practice are over.
Seems you can’t educate some of these people enough to make them see the folly of primeval, ritual, dancing, and the attention gleaned from it.
They didn’t mention the Hospital name, but I use an Atlanta hospital, and I hope mine is not the one.
I’m glad my culture and self-worth doesn’t hinge on who can out-dance whom.
Black Privilege.
She was not operating at any hospital. She was performing cosmetic surgery in her office.
Hey she was No 1 at Wakanda University Medical School
When will the crippling lawsuits against her start rolling in?
Soon, I hope.
I wonder what dance she’ll do for that?
So...she is just a crappy, unqualified physician then.
It has been my observation that these ones can’t do anything without that stupid f***ing “music” they listen to playing in the background.
Affirmative action is so dangerous.
GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - The Gwinnett dermatologist, whose license was suspended after a local media uncovered a string of lawsuits and patient complaints, claimed lawsuits filed against her are racially motivated. An audio recording exists of Dr. Windell Boutte lashing out at white doctors on the Georgia Composite Medical Board. A would-be patient told Strickland she covertly recorded the conversation two days after he broke the story of Boutte's surgery antics posted on YouTube, and her recent malpractice settlements.
When Chavela Hill confronted Boutte about her problems, the doctor said she was being singled out, while white doctors on the board got a pass.
The board, as you noticed, declined to remark on any of this because youve got some white plastic surgeons on the board that have killed people, said Boutte on the recording.
Hill met with Boutte days after initial media reports on the doctor, She said she felt compelled to record the meeting, at which she asked to cancel her surgery and receive a full a refund.
It's just wrong. It's just wrong, Chavela Hill told Strickland as tears ran down her cheeks. Race don't have nothing to do with how she's disfiguring women, and how she's just sitting up here misleading us.
BOUTTE INVESTIGATION:
- June 7, 2018: Medical board suspends 'dancing doctor' Windell Bouttes medical license
- June 4, 2018: Woman says dancing doctor left her disfigured while making music video during surgery
- May 23, 2018: Woman claims dancing doctor' left her with disfiguring 'joker smile' scar
- May 22, 2018: Patient says she woke up from surgery in hotel room with sandwich in hand
- May 21, 2018: Doctor who made music videos in operating room facing several malpractice lawsuits
The only plastic surgeon of any ethnicity on the board is its chairman Dan DeLoach, who told Strickland he wouldn't dignify the assertion with a response.
I think Dr. Boutte is a reckless physician who does not have her patients' best interest in mind, said attorney Chloe Dallaire, who represents three of the former Boutte patients who were named in the medical boards suspension order for Boutte.
That recording revealed what Boutte had to say about Dallaire in her meeting with Hill.
One of those white lawyers is such a redneck, Chloe Dallaire. Theyre buddy-buddy with the white plastic surgeons on the boards, Boutte said on the recording.
Hill, even weeks later, had an emotional response to Bouttes claims.
You're a different color, and you're sitting here from the bottom of your heart trying to help me. Race don't have anything to do with that, she said.
The reason Hill had arranged a meeting with Boutte in the first place was to try and secure a refund for a procedure she had scheduled. Hill called to cancel after watching broadcast video related to allegations against Boutte. Strickland heard from at least three would-be patients who backed out of procedures with Boutte after his reporting.
But in an interview with Headline News, Boutte said no patients have asked to cancel.
No one ever came to you and said, I was going to come to you, but I saw the videos and Im like, uh-uh? asked Headline News anchor Mike Galanos. Never ever, ever, Boutte responded.
Hill financed more than $8,900 for her procedure, but Boutte denied a refund because the cancellation fell inside Bouttes 30-day full refund window. Hill lost 50 percent of the cost of her procedure, and a $600 administration fee. She was refunded $3,884.75
Hill said she doesnt regret taking the financial hit.
I did not want to get on the table because I was in fear of my life, Hill said. She don't care nothing about nothing but money. She's not caring about these women, she's not caring about nothing.
I’ll bet a lot of her patients thought it was really kewl to go to the Dancing Doctor.
Somebody tell me her race had nothing to do with her getting a medical degree and a license to practice.
Witch Doctor
Song by The Chipmunks
I told the witch doctor I was in love with you
I told the witch doctor I was in love with you
And then the witch doctor he told me what to do
He said that
Ooo eee ooo ah ah ting tang walla walla bing bang
Ooo eee ooo ah ah ting tang walla walla bing bang
Ooo eee ooo ah ah ting tang walla walla bing bang
Ooo eee ooo ah ah ting tang walla walla bing bang
I told the witch doctor you didn’t love me true
I told the witch doctor you didn’t love me nice
And then the witch doctor he game me this advice
He said that

And I’ll admit I wasn’t very smart
So I went out and found myself a guy that’s so much wiser
And he taught me the way to win your heart
My friend the witch doctor he taught me what to say
My friend the witch doctor he taught me what to do
I know that you’ll be mine when I say this to you
Ooo eee ooo ah ah ting tang walla walla bing bang
Ooo eee ooo ah ah ting tang walla walla bing bang
Ooo eee ooo ah ah ting tang walla walla bing bang
Ooo eee ooo ah ah ting tang walla walla bing bang
You’ve been keeping love from me just like you were a miser
And I’ll admit I wasn’t very smart
So I went out and found myself a guy that’s so much wiser
And he taught me the way to win your heart
My friend the witch doctor he taught me what to say
My friend the witch doctor he taught me what to do
I know that you’ll be mine when I say this to you
Ooo eee ooo ah ah ting tang walla walla, bing bang

“’Dancing Doctor’ says Videos of Herself Performing over Anesthetized Patients were...”
...Photoshopped.
Most of the crazy/incompetent doctors I’ve read about are plastic surgeons. I would have expected psychiatrists.
Psychiatrists' clinical results are not quite so visible.
Until they are.
I avoid Black surgeons whenever possible. I started doing this after a C-level friend at a major insurance co. told me that Black surgeons had FAR higher malpractice claims vs. White/Asian ones, but that the data is kept quiet. Very sad because there are some great Black surgeons who are tarred with the broad brush of “affirmative action.”
The malpractice cases will make her umemployable
Already exist. The number and claims will maker unemployable
