Close your eyes and imagine holding someone’s scalp in your hands. I don’t mean cradling his skull as you thousand-yard-stare at his lifeless face. I mean a real scalp, Indian-style, of some enemy you just killed on the battlefield; somebody you hated and who hated you back.
You killed him, won the day, carved off the top of his skull, and now you’re standing over him victorious on the now-quiet field of battle, with a quiet breeze blowing through your hair. Your adrenaline is still pumping with that primal feeling of victory and the elation of having survived when others didn’t.
I’m not naive enough to think that less than 5 percent of those reading this are the only ones not cringing at that mental image. Amid our wealth and privilege, most Americans cannot even relate to that kind of violence, and they sure don’t want to fantasize about it. That whole thing feels barbaric, violent, and repugnant. Maybe you even wish now you hadn’t read it.
But maybe, for just a moment, would you consider it? No, not a real scalping, but a metaphorical one. We’ll come back to this in a minute.

I think you’re right. I think secession is the inevitable outcome. Our side is too numerous, holds too much territory and is too well armed to be brought to heal.
Personally, I’m just fine with secession. Some whole states will drop out. Sometimes a city and the rest of the state it is in will go their separate ways. Think Miami dividing from Florida, Occupied Northern Virginia from the rest of the state, Chicagoland from Illinios, Portland from Oregon, Minneapolis from Minnesota, etc.
Ultimately, I just don’t think our two tribes will be able to live with each other.

If we constitutionalists don’t get ourselves a “media” that everyone somehow voluntarily is exposed to, we are sinking. However, if we could get the Gullibles off their Propaganda teat, we will win in the real world of ideas. Freedom is one of the best ideas man has ever had.
We need a media that everyone hears.
We need our 9 and 10 year olds not going on to the next grade (5th?) until they all have passed a basic civics quiz. Meaning in 3rd and 4th grades, civics is taught. All American children should understand the magic and the blood that got us this country. What is this country? Sure, footnote it with our flaws, but don’t make our failings the story. Make our desire for freedom and our success at freedom the story. Get them to revere our founding documents. Get them to understand that each of them is as equal as anyone else. Not protected more or less due to what kind of ancestry or class. EQUAL under the law, EQUAL in society.
There is no one smarter and clearer headed than 10 to 12 year olds. As logic enters them, their powers of reasoning and their innocence will build this country back up. By 7th grade they will all see the folly of the lies told around them and the lack of common sense. They are our future and they will re-secure the United States of America as intended. Get it all done before puberty and our future is assured.

Fully agreed. It's possible this geographic location of freedom will go down one day, but freedom lovers are more positive, smarter, have more energy, love life more (not in the sense of clinging to merely living, but holding onto freedom in life.)
The Americas were different in that they the last peace of land to be settled - the last clean white canvas, in a way. But there are places where like minded free people will either fully settle, or take by force. The freedom lovers are the producers and constructive thinkers.
If the 'good guys' are defined as the freedom lovers, it's the good guys that God favors. When and if things turn from spoiling to spoiled, from degenerating to rotted through, they/we will stop acting all nice about what's going on, and we'll take a new land. Whatever generation, freedom lovers are more alive, love life more. That's who always wins. I don't say that as some happy slappy cliche. Joy = Freedom = Energy = Strength = Practical IQ.
I think we'll be OK against Robert DeNero and George Soros when this Shiite hits the fan and battles aren't measured by acting awards and fiat currencies.
When I was 6 or 7 years old I’d cut off the tails of the squirrels we hunted and collect them on a string to hang in my room... and for show and tell...

The Left can promise weak-minded people all sorts of things. It also controls the media and education system to insure that the supply of weak-minded people is steadily growing.

It could split up. That is our best possible outcome. But when it does split up, WE are going to have make hard choices in who we let in to OUR part or else the process will begin all over again. That means our kids and grandkids who believe that our kind are primitive in our thinking. It means people whose demographics makes them susceptible to Leftist propaganda and people whose choice of faith group is not compatible with cold, hard freedom and the responsibility it requires of each of us.

Remember that “Americans” at this point covers a VERY broad range of people. Some are controlled by ideas and peer groups. Some are controlled by the past. Some are easy to control with free stuff. Some are controlled by threatening their wealth. Some by threatening their livelihood or their comfort. Until we are willing to discard all desire for wealth or comfort and are willing to die while killing the Progressives, modern Americans of all sorts are VERY easy to control.
Your statement is true even for those of us who were orn well after 1900.
Christian convictions got many founding fathers to embrace austerity and trials.
If America gets too mushy to do that, it’s not going to see a revival.
