When I was 6 or 7 years old I’d cut off the tails of the squirrels we hunted and collect them on a string to hang in my room... and for show and tell...
Now I think back on it and wish those had been little progressive ponytails.
I kept scapulae of squirrels I killed and ate. Had close to 800 scapulae at one time.
I sold mine to a fishing lure company...15 cents each...
