Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said Tuesday that Democrats would reject legislation to address the crisis at the U.S-Mexico border, where children have been separated from adults after crossing illegally.
“There are so many obstacles to legislation and when the president can do it with his own pen, it makes no sense,” Schumer said, as quoted by The Hill. “Legislation is not the way to go here when it’s so easy for the president to sign it.” The Hill‘s Alexander Bolton observed: “Schumer said [Democrats] want to keep the focus on Trump.”

Commie rats think this is a winning issue in November..they are dead wrong..if the Commies win in November America is GONE, FINISHED..we will have open borders within 2 years, period, end of story..so America has a decision to make, do you want 100 million migrants in America(Who will ALL vote Democrat, thus the one party system) or do you want to save America from becoming a wasteland, its a simple question

If this is such a major crisis, and legislation would solve said crisis, why is the Democrat majority leader saying he is against legislation to solve a crisis?
So let’s have the vote, Mitch McConnell can call up the bill, and let’s let Chuck and his Democrats vote against the legislation. Let’s do it.
Right now the Dems own this, by getting PDJT to issue an EO then he owns it....that’s what they want.
This is obvious. They want this as a political issue for November. The only logical course of action is to increase the pressure until they buckle. Start charging these border crossers with child abuse and endangering the welfare of children and sever their parental rights. This may finally make it clear we are serious this time.
Sorry Chuck, but Trump isn’t going to have that albatross around his own neck.
As long as President Trump is being forced to govern with a pen and a phone (like Obama), he needs to stop permitting asylum claims at the border anywhere other than at an official point of entry. Anywhere else, entry denied.
They want this going so it can be a campaign issue.

Nothing is going to CHANGE until people start feeling PAIN. Pain is good, kids being torn from parents is a GOOD reminder for people to think about having babies, and coming into a country illegally and without legal protection. They can be UNITED, by going to the country from which they came.
American children are separated from their parents every day.
It is not a crisis when it is fraudulently documented foreigners.

Once again, dems would rather find something to blame the President for than to actually take responsibility for a fix themselves. Congress, particularly dem congress persons, feckless ####’s.
Do it and get them on record for not wanting to unite families, and have open borders then.

Actions have consequences, and when you break the law you face the consequences

Exactly, the parents are putting their children at risk by engaging them in breaking into another country.
We do not want to take their children from them, we want them to go home together.
