Indeed, going to the beach is a perfect way to relax. Especially if it’s a beach that’s not too crowded and you can lay out [in the shade for red-headed me!] and listen to the waves come in.

Temps have been up, 80’s and 90’s. warm for here with humidity.
Politics is gonna be a zoo coming up. What a joke NY has become.
We keep losing any gains and all the good people.

I did stay there and The Teddy Roosevelt Camp in Yellowstone..

I’d love to see Old Faithful basin in winter but have no pretense that winter is not brutal in this part of the world.

No kidding. But our son tells us that though it gets mighty cold and there is a bunch of snow, they don’t get blizzards with high winds.

That’s still not enough to make me want to live there in the winter. LOL! I COULD be persuaded to be a reverse snowbird, though. These Texas summers are getting on my last scorched nerve. :)

Howdy, radu! That sounds like a good plan to me! As long as I don’t have to be on the beach in the sun, I’m good to go.

I think a weenie roast at twilight would be perfect. Or a shrimp boil. With soft beachy music in the background.

Let’s GO!! LOL! Panama Beach isn’t that far from you. :)

Now that the boys are out of the house, we like going to Gulf Shores (the Redneck Riviera) in early October. The weather is nice but not too hot, the water is warm, the shops and restaurants are all still open. Most importantly, the condo rates go down October 1, and it’s not crowded. It makes for a very relaxing time.

You must be about ready to pull your hair out with the idiots in Albany and even the local idiots. I really don’t know how you deal with it. Though, I think you’ve made a difference. There are folks there who rely on your honest assessment of the situation.

I've seen that part in winter on video and it's just not worth it to stand out there in the sub-zero temps to watch that thing spew for a couple of minutes. Just sayin'...... 😁
