Trump called out Trudeau's hypocrisy and now the two nations are on a brink of an all-out trade war. Trudeau only has votes to gain, risking the entire Canadian economy to get them; meantime, Trump could start to patriate the entire auto sector, securing mega votes in Michigan once again.

Why are Cuckservatives siding with Trudeau and is there any sane way to make Dairy Nationalism Great Again?

It has been said that when an American President is down in the polls, he launches a war. It is almost guaranteed to raise his popularity. One merely has to look at the wars that the Kenyan Nobel Prize Winner launched or the Yugoslav war launched by BJ Klintoon!

In Kanaduh, our current PM's father (though not necessarily his DNA supplier) succeeded in starving and gutting our military decades ago. As we have no military to start a 'shooting' war, instead the PMO brain trust have decided that Kanaduh should start a trade war with our biggest trading partner. THAT will rally Canadians around the Lieberals. There are enough 'sheeple' in Kanaduh who WILL fall for it. Unfortunately, for many Canucks, the one unifying sentiment is being anti-American.

Our economy is in the tank and now Dunstbunny (formerly known as Dustbin) has succeeded in getting PDJT totally POed. Tariffs on Canadian made vehicles will kill a very fragile economy. Thanks, Trust-fund Dustbunny!

Trudeau is leading us down the road to economic destruction. If America was shut out of the entire Canadian market it would have a far less impact on the US economy, than America shutting its doors to Canadian goods. We have to strike a balance, because we cannot win a trade war with the United States. The most pathetic thing is Trudeau talking nice to President Trump’s face, then playing “tough guy” as soon as the President has left the country. He didn’t have the b*lls to say anything to Trump face-to-face.

Does he even have a set? Or are they paste on like his eyebrows?

I think he actually thought he was acting like Trump. Trump talks tough but only when he can back it up.

I don’t know but I sure don’t want to see them fall off at a press conference.

Canada better hope History Channel renews The Curse of Oak Island. At the rate Trudeau is going that show might be a significant chunk of the GDP.

“In 2016, over 10 million MT of
steel, worth over $11.8 billion,
was traded between our two
countries, with Canada shipping
$5.87 billion to the U.S
(5.4MMT), and the U.S. shipping
$5.96 billion (4.7MMT) to
Canada.”

That’s from a Canadian source.

I’m not sure if things have changed.

US/Canadian trade conflict is usually confined to paper and wood products from trees from government land in Canada.

As much as I disliked Rocky Waterhole’s politics, at least his old man had the ‘nads to stand up to those he disgreed with, and would tell them to their face. He was arrogant but quite intelligent. His boy, Dustbunny, only has one of those character traits. Of course, being a Trust-fund baby, he has never had to operate in the ‘real world’.

The dairy product situation is bad.

Canada slaps massive tariffs on US dairy exports to Canada above quota limits.

I think the tariffs on both Canadian steel and US dairy products need to vanish and I think the US should formally make such an offer to JT.

Trudeau is just posturing. Every country leader has to complain like bloody hell, otherwise he would lose votes.

The best thing Trump can do for Trudeau is impose the tariffs to give Trudeau cover.

sorry to hear that ... i guess i just assumed that the revving up of the U.S. economy would have at least some positive effects for Canada ...

Sorry, I did not realize that it was posted already.

I can only hope that my fellow Canadians, and especially Ontarians , realize long before Monday October 31, 2019, that our quickly coming economic depression is due to Dustbunny’s weaselly words and actions. PDJT is doing EXACTLY what he should be doing, LEADING and PROTECTING his country. Dustbunny could learn A LOT from President Trump! In fact, so could ALL Canadian politicians! Is there a team of detectives and doctors available in this country who can locate and re-attach Andrew Scheer's, Jason Kenney's, and Doug Ford's missing 'nads? They should be calling out Dustbunny on his bike actions.

“I think he actually thought he was acting like Trump.”

the same though occurred to me as well. many have TRIED to ACT like Trump, but because no one is actually LIKE Trump, they never can pull it off. They have only empty bluster. I remember when both Jeb and Marco tried that, and it was totally disastrous for them. Now we can add Justin to the list of failed fake Trumps ...

Normally it would but Dustbunny’s childish petulance, his hypocrisy, playing all ‘sweetness and light’ with PDJT behind closed doors and then slamming him publicly after he was flying to Singapore, has resulted in the US potentially placing huge tariffs on Canadian vehicles. Any chance at ON’s economy recovering after too many years of leftist politicians, will be mostly shot. Are my fellow Canucks bright enough to understand that Dustbunny’s words and actions are the cause of what’s coming? Don’t think so!

Borrowing (and slightly ammending) the words from an old Jim Croce song:
“You don’t tug on Superman’s cape
You don’t spit into the wind
You don’t pull the mask off that old Lone Ranger
And you don’t mess around with PDJT!”

It has for Alberta, God bless Trump, but even then our own government is making sure to not build any pipelines or anything. They’re hell bent on destroying us.
