With Parkland high school graduate David Hogg expected to announce a 60-day, 20-state, 75-stop summer bus tour Monday to push for more stringent gun control laws and to register young people to vote, the 18-year-old found himself facing another daunting challenge that could break the internet if he accepts.
Kaitlin Bennett, the Kent State grad who took the internet by storm recently when she posed on campus with an AR-10 strapped across her back, took to social media to challenge Hogg to an arm wrestling contest.

“I have a challenge for you @davidhogg111. Let’s arm wrestle. If I win, we get to keep the 2nd amendment. If you win, we turn in our guns. Deal?” she tweeted.

I actually hate that he is sullying the name of Hogg.
I used to work with a really fine man named Hogg. He was a little guy and said he was the runt of the litter. He had 3 Daughters and called them “my three little pigs” (they were actually quite pretty).
He was stationed in Japan during the Korean War and once told me that every time he told a Japanese his name and someone translated, they would all giggle.
Chicken Hogg. That sort of fits.
She has him by the short hairs.
If he rejects because she is a girl he comes off as sexist.
If he rejects for any other reason he looks scared of losing.
If he accepts and beats her he demonstrates that women and men should arm themselves against physically advantaged opponents.
If he accepts and lowes he shows what a pathetic twit he really is.
I LOVE it.
Hell with the arm wrestling. Just take him down and pin him.

Hope she wins. But in any case hope Hogg understands she is not legal representation for the country. In fact, if she lost, that would be a good example of why people need guns to defend against tyranny.

Um, I don’t agree with her. I used to have small arms but I was a carpenter/framer and challenged the biggest guy in the lumber yard to an arm wrestle in front of his co-workers who he used to bully around. Well, he lost every time and it wasn’t even a match. my arms were strong from hammering nails. lol Poor guy quit after a few weeks.
Maybe Hogg’s Mommy will offer to take his place!
Hammering nails does not make you particularly strong. It does make you more durable. Lifting heavy weights is what does.
Sometimes it seems a shame that dueling has been outlawed.
