This is right up there with the congressman worrying that stationing Marines on Guam could cause the island to tip over and capsize . . .
On CNN this morning, Chris Cuomo expressed the concern that under a denuclearization deal with North Korea, the NORK nukes might be sent to . . . Pakistan. Panelists Jon Avlon and Gordon Chang talked poor Chris in off the ledge, assuring him that wouldnt happen.

And basing Marines on Guam won’t cause the island to tip over, either, Chris.
Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.
Fredo Cuomo. Weak and stupid.
No, he’s not concerned about that - just has to spin Trump’s apparent success into a failure. This is 24/7/365 campaigning, Democrat-style.
Not news. Belongs in bloggers.
Good point: Cuomo’s desperately searching for the downside.
For 13 years or so, I’ve been writing about liberal media bias and related looniness. Started at NewsBusters, then Legal Insurrection, now with my own FinkelBlog.

If Hillary, DWS, and Imran Awan had anything to say about it they would be.
he is telegraphing to kimmie ,,
or is that projecting ??
Return to sender. Pakistan helped a lot of s#!thole countries with their nuke programs.
One, these are nuclear weapons we're talking about, it's not like saying "hey, can I park my motorcycle in your garage for the winter?" Nuclear weapons put a nation into a very exclusive club. The knowledge to design them (well, certain critical elements) is tightly controlled. The technology to build them is controlled. Possessing them, maintaining them, securing them... All a huge responsibility - not one to be given away lightly, nor taken on lightly.
Two, Pakistan already has far more nuclear weapons than NK likely has and would transfer. I have little doubt the Pakistani weapons are far better qualitatively too. Why would they help NK this way? Where's the benefit for Pakistan? Maybe it buys itself a little international good will for helping to disarm NK. But then it's got a dozen or two crappy NK weapons to deal with, which leads to my third point.
Three, these are NK weapons. NK does not have the scientific, engineering, and manufacturing abilities of Pakistan (which are generally modest themselves). There is no small amount of physical risk involved in acting as custodian to NK "technology" that may decide to leak radiation, spontaneously fizzle, or otherwise accidentally kill everyone in the vicinity.
This was done under the aegis of China, the puppet-master
I remember when the IAEA want to Pakistan to tell them the UN knew that Pakistan did NOT have Nuclear weapons. So Murshariff had one detonated.
Gordon Chang on CNN? Im shocked!
Pakistan? Why not directly to Iran?
Eliminates the middleman, while simultaneously building up yet another enemy of America, even as one is diminished or even nullified.
Yep, please add me to your ping list.
Thanks, palmer, and welcome to the list!
Mark gets (and deserves) a pass on FR’s default “blog posts go in Bloggers” rule. I stumbled on that too, some months back. Since then, after joining on his list, I’ve read some very interesting commentary here and found useful references to non-blog news.
