What is it with these guys? They’re the most hawkish guys in Congress when it comes to military interventions where thousands will be killed or have their legs blown off, but waterboarding a terrorist or keeping him up with loud music is just too violent for them.

Suddenly, McCain seems to have a lot to say in the past week or so - he doesn’t want President Trump at his funeral, he’s opposed to Gina Haspel’s nomination for CIA Director, he wants to pick his own successor, etc. Is there any video or audio record of him actually saying these things? I wonder who it really is that has taken it upon themselves to act as the voice of John McCain.
